Battersea Condo

Large contemporary complex very near a bus line into the tourist area. The tube stops were not as convenient, but we found a nice restaurant and convenience store when we used the tube. The furnishings appeared clean and attractive and the beds were comfortable, although smaller than queen size. We were pleased with first impressions, but a bit disappointed in the preparation that had been made our stay. We found damp rugs in the washer, the washer water container was full, and a bag of trash by the door, as if cleaners had been rushed to finish before we arrived. (We arranged to gain entry about 1.) The biggest problem was we had no hot water the first night; apparently the boiler hadn’t been turned on. (The concierge for the building sent an engineer in the next day to get it working.) There were nice shades with electric controls over the window wall, but one of them wouldn’t go up more than 15 inches. We weren’t able to reach the owner with our small concerns, so we just made do. All that said, we were comfortable there. The linens were good, there was ice in the freezer and a few other condiments in the cabinets and once the water issue was resolved, we were satisfied to overlook the small things.

Lekker ruim appartement. Heel compleet ingericht met twee ruime badkamers. Ligging vlak bij nieuw heel mooi winkelcentrum en leuke restaurantjes.
