Things I Wish I Knew Before I Stayed Here

1. This unit is at the top of the building - 5 flights up. There is a TINY elevator that barely one person & a carry-on suitcase can fit into. If you have a lot of luggage, small children, elderly guests or get claustrophobic in tiny elevators, this isn't the place for you. 2. This place needs a serious deep cleaning. The doors/walls/baseboards were all filthy & had clearly not been wiped down. If you like extreme cleanliness, this isn't the place for you. 3. The kitchen is stocked at an absolute bare minimum. There are no wine glasses, no bottle openers, old looking pots & pans, mismatched silverware, etc. If you enjoy cooking in your VRBO or want to open a bottle of wine & drink it out of a wine glass, this isn't the place for you. 4. The sofas & beds are all extremely firm. I'm guessing they are all from IKEA, which is fine to some degree, but for living room comfort & bedroom comfort, if you enjoy being cozy, this isn't the place for you. It was truly like sitting on & sleeping on bricks. 5. FYI - there is only a washing machine, no dryer. Just a heads up. This place is extremely overpriced for what it is. Do not be fooled by the fancy photography unless you enjoy cheap furnishings on a crowded street. I would never stay here again.
