The hotel was full of men who were working nearby we presume. In the evening they were drinking and getting drunk, swearing and behaving inappropriately. We felt it was more like a men’s hostel than a hotel and it was not a welcoming environment despite the lovely staff.

Handy for anything around Docklands

Regular visitor here. Staff are helpful and friendly. Generally quiet and comfortable. House keeping has been just a little less precise than in the past. Inga in the restaurant is brilliant and has lead the team for years. Great for business and handy for London City and the Excel

It’s a good place to rest your head, everything is clean and well taken care of. If you are staying here for the London excel then be aware it’s in a weird location and can be difficult to find especially at night when transit becomes less available!

Very good hotel & staff

We stayed here as it was disability friendly, it was more than we imagined, we brought our own hoist but everything else was efficient for what we needed, staff were lovely and helpful, the food was hot and enjoyable. Very near to places we needed to see and things to do. Would definitely stop here again

Excellent place to stay

The room was comfortable and clean. The staffs were very helpful. The breakfast was great, too. We had a wonderful 3-night stay.
