We booked through Expedia, Add, said Family Room Top Floor, which I have a copy of We did not get Top Floor, or a floor with a view Hotel Riu said they do not honor Expedia Room Request and that Expedia knows this and is practicing False advertizing The Top Floor cost us $700 dollars more for 6 nights than the 4 th floor Family Room that we got I plan to recover this money from Expedia or i will never use them again

Hotel was close to Victotia Station and fine dining down the street. Staff was helpful and courteous.Room spotless. Other hotels in the area but Riu had a full breakfast buffet with many options. This was the second time we stayed at a Riu (first time in San Francisco) and will choose Riu again.

Arrived to be told needed to produce id -live in the uk so don’t take Id- this needs to be told to people before arrival as it was causing grief for the people around me at checkin.. Booked a twin room and was given a double ..it got sorted but it spoilt the trip having to fight for the room -they said subject to availability as it was booked through you -but surely people book twin rooms for a reason

Good breakfast, nice staff, close to Victoria station.Would have been nice if they would provide small items such as shower cap, body lotion…. If someone is lucky to get a room on 5th or 6th floor maybe would not be disappointing , otherwise rooms on first floor is a nightmare to find and such a long way to go from one building to another one, so confusing and tiring.

It was a beautiful place to stay. Everything was so convenient , I didn’t like that the bathrooms had no shelf or counter to put anything so it was all just on the floor. ugggg that was yucky.
