Although it was in a great location and close to the underground, I had many issues with this stay that I cannot give it more than 1 star. To start off, I stayed for 7 days. I try to conserve how many times I ask for my room to be cleaned. You have to go to the front desk to ask for a room clean. I asked three times and no one ever cleaned my room. I asked at least for more towels and was told there was a shortage, so I had to reuse my towels for 3 days straight! In the 7 days and 4 times I requested a room clean, it was only done ONCE after a manager got involved.
Also, if your room is too hot or too cold, you also have to go to the front desk to request this temperature change. Some times, the desk attendant was not even present in the mornings when I would leave. It is cheaper, but I cannot justify the price for the location when there are a ton of other hotels for decent prices in this area. I will never stay here again.

The breakfast is offering gluten free options. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Julia had a great smile.
Breakfast was simple but good.
Small rooms but clean.
Perfect location as you can walk to many attractions.
The reason for not given 5 stars was that the road in front of hotel was closed under construction.
Our taxi driver could not get to front door.
Had we known about that we would have booked the other Hub.

We expected a small room but this was more like a closet. We had requested an early check in and a window, this was not ready upon arrival. My husband had to crawl out of bed , only way to get out was the bottom of the bed. He then had to be careful not to hit his head on the TV. When you took a shower, the entire bathroom got soaked. The staff was nice, but I would never recommend this hotel.
If you are a minimalist and travel light and travel alone, this place is for you. If you checked a bag and plan on staying here for longer than a week and you are traveling with someone, look elsewhere. The rooms are very, very small. The bed takes up most of the floor space. There are NO shelves to place any personal items (including the bathroom). And the “closet” is only big enough to hang 4 shirts / jackets. The staff is very young (20-ish) and very inexperienced. It took 3 requests to have our room serviced. Location wise, it is walking distance from St James Station and convenient to get where you want to go around town. But there are better options. Stay here if you like cozy places with nowhere to hang your clothes.
It was clean they had great air conditioning , it’s on a great location

Carpet was dirty. Touch screen switches and HVAC. The screen would light up randomly at night for a second and wake me up. No place to put your clothes. 3 hangers and a foot wide single shelf.
Great place for short stays. Convenient, near to most historical locations. Very clean and comfortable room. Staff very helpful pleasant. Coffee, tea, water available 24 hours free. Breakfast all you can eat for £6.oo.
