Very disappointing

We booled the jesmond dene for our family trip to London. It stated it was an annex room at the address of Argyle Street. We had booked this property as it was on the doorstep of Kings Cross station. When we arrived at the hotel we were told our room was not actually there but instead we were transported to an apartment which was at least a 15 minute walk away from the original address and tube station. This was not what we expected. I contacted reception to explain our confusion and annoyance but were fobbed off. Be careful when booking as it does not state that you could be at a different location. Very disappointing!

Fantastic great stay

Fantastic. Great location, clean, lots of nice touches like complimentary mini bar. We got upgraded which was extra nice. Quiet even though near Kings Cross Station. Held our bags safely for the day.highly recommend.

This complex is like a second home for me. Its proximity to Kings Cross and St. Pancras International make lodgings at this location very convenient that it’s hard to fathom staying at a more posh location and give up the convenience of this place. Only regret is not being able to afford their Four Star suite. If you can, book it!

I was very impressed with the room, which had a very comfortable bed. I thought that it was great value for money, being very close to King's Cross station, St Pancras International, and buses. Staff were extremely courteous. I would definitely consider staying there in the future!

This property is prefect for families with small children. Three beds in total in the family room/suite. A skin inside the bathroom and one outside the bathroom too made getting ready in the morning easy. VERY close to Kings Cross made transportation easy.

Overall experience was disappointing. Our room was in third floor. It was very hot and air conditioning unit was not working. We left the windows open but there was a unpleasant smell from outside. There are no elevator. The stairs were so narrow for midsized carry on. It wasn't a pleasant stay. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

So convenient location but more than that it was sparkling clean and staff extremely friendly and welcoming. We left our bags on arrival and departure day. And were offered use of the restroom both times which is not to be taken for granted! We had everything we needed. Small room but small price which suited us. Would come back and highly recommend. Oh also quiet even in ground floor.
