Proximity to tube and train station was fantastic but along with that comes a great deal of homeless people begging for money and fighting outside of the station so beware, especially at night! The lobby and common areas of the hotel are a bit rough. Our room on the first floor had a double and single bed which were surprisingly comfortable. The floor in the room (faux wood) was severely worn and desperately needs to be replaced. The bathroom, especially the rainfall shower, was the highlight. Best shower ever! Great water pressure and temperature!

While the staff was very friendly, I was quite thankful that this stay was only one night. The hotel was very odd. My room was down in a basement area and had no windows. The bathroom was underneath a staircase. The toilet and vanity were literally inside of the shower (everything in one wet area). Again, the staff was very pleasant but I would not recommend this hotel as your main stay for London.

We were traveling to France for our next stage and this hotel was an easy reach of Eurostar. Only one problem, to get to the elevator you had to pack your suitcases down a flight of stairs to access it. Room was small but doable.

Great location, needs a revamp.

Fantastic location. Check in and bag drop staff helpful. Bedding clean. General cleanliness of hotel not great, shower didn't have any hot water work so we all had cold showers. Not the end of the world but not also what you'd expect for over £200 a night. Reported the problem but they made no effort to resolve it. Without this issue it's a 5/10 hotel and worth the money (just) for central London. Room 319

Never again.

For a doubleroom this was very poor standard. The 4th floor room for both myself and husband as we are quite tall and the slopes in the room meant we could not get into the bed without hurting ourselves. Thankfully it was just the 1 night, but never again. The area was very noisy all night.

The property is very poorly maintained but it has potential. Customer service has to improve. The elevator makes no sense and it wouldn’t be very friendly to people with special needs or equipment.

Do not stay

Carpets were very dirty. Hairs in the bed. Note that rooms without windows are two stories underground where the air is damp and dank and smells of mildew. Staff was very friendly and upgraded to a nicer room, which had a window. But then there was mold on the window and the AC made a small trickle of cool air, so the very hot and smelly air was not affected. Bathroom did not have soap and mirror did not seem cleaned.
