Watch out for the small print in the booking I had to pay a £100 deposit on my room with my card and they said it will take 14 days to get it back in my account
The receptionist wasn't friendly. And couldn't wait to get back to his computer. Gave us our door card told us we were in the 4th floor pointed down some steps and said the lift is down there and disappeared into the back room. The hotel needs some tlc.
The lift only goes to the 3rd floor. We were on the 4th. Which once we got to the 3rd floor involved carrying our bags down a flight of stairs and then up a flight. ( In narrow corridors)
The room was small but ok.
The tv wouldn't switch off
And the lock on the door didn't work.
The morning receptionist was much more helpful
This was just okay - window to outside was broken, low water pressure in shower, given only 1 key, and the front desk person seemed annoyed and at times rude.
It is conveniently located across the street from Kings Cross. Not a great space if traveling with family.
It was in a great location and very convenient. Staff were nice and helpful. We were able to use luggage storage which was great. There is construction in the area which is noisy and inconvenient, but cannot be helped by the hotel. We enjoyed our stay

Cheap
Serve the purpose of emergency accommodation but would not recommend for long stay. Water only Luke warm.
The rooms DO NOT LOOK like the photos. We had two rooms; one for our family, one my niece's. The rooms are just one step above a hostel. The staff do not care one iota about the guests. Neither room was cleaned. Towels weren't replaced. Garbage wasn't emptied. There was no where to hang wet towels. When I complained to Expedia, they told me I had to go through hotel. When I complained to hotel they said to go through Expedia. Then hotel lied to Expedia and said they offered us different rooms and upgrades. None of it true. If you don't care about the cleanliness of your room, security, level of noise or service, this is your place.
Fantastic location for the price. Kings Cross underground is right across the street. You can catch the Piccadilly train all the way to London Heathrow airport. You can also get to almost all the attractions in under 15 minutes. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel but walked 9 minutes to Pinner Cafe for an excellent full English breakfast for about £10. It definitely shows its age but I’d stay here every time I come back.
This hotel is dated. Needs repair, smells like damp stale water (we slept with window open) & doesn't pay attention to detail. The premier Inn would’ve been so much worth the extra £10… lesson learnt
