On the first day when I arrived, they didn’t have power. I had to wait two hours in the lobby before I could check in.. when I went upstairs there was only one towel so I had to go downstairs and get myself, also For three days in a row, nobody would come and clean the room so I went downstairs and had to make a request in order for them to come and clean the room.
Also when I need it an Iron again had to go downstairs and get it myself the iron and the iron board.
To me so far worst experience ever !
The room felt neglected. Staff have no knowledge of the area when asked questions, so extremely unhelpful. The only time the staff were friendly was at breakfast when they were asking people to rate them. Heating was up way too high, the restaurant food at night was so overpriced and disgusting!!
We were very disappointed with the room it was tiny and very squashed in. Again no help from anyone.
Room doesn’t have a phone , I stayed 7 days and nobody told me I have to request to have my room cleaned before 12pm which most of the time I was asleep , it’s standard for house keeping to visit your room twice per day but this hotel doesn’t clean your room, everything else was great.
Clean and new rooms. The room had AC and heater, USB charger in the walls (in case your uk plug adapter fails like ours did, we came from the US). Stable free WiFi (worked perfectly fine with NordVPN). One detail is that at night you can hear the tube train passing every now and then but it wasn't too noticable. The breakfast was cheaper than any other options around (it was 10.99 per adult) and it tasted very good, we were pleasantly surprised, especially that kids eat breakfast for free (we had 4 kids so it definitely made it a great deal).
Really good breakfast to start the day.

Only down side was the noise of every single train passing the window. Stuff all sleep !

Personal hygiene for some of the staff members needs to be immediately addressed.
Two pieces of my wife’s clothes went missing from our room. I did not accuse anyone from taking it but the way how it was dealt with from the reception staff was extremely unprofessional. They did not handle the situation seriously and were very rude with me. As a matter of fact, also a staff member who is supposed to seat us during breakfast was also very rude to us by insisting to seat us at a specific table not suitable for my two years old table although there were many other empty tables. His voice tone and remarks to us were rude. Overall, this is a nice hotel but several staff members need to be trained on hotel hospitality and to take care of their personal hygiene.
