Intimate location in Mayfair.

A wonderful small hotel experience in Mayfair on a quiet street just off Piccadilly. Well appointed room. Surprisingly good restaurant and bar. Great WiFi!

In many ways, one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The location is perfect and the tastes are exactly to my liking. The majority of my stay was in a very nice cabin room, but the first two nights were in an unsuitably small version. There is no way a five star hotel should have something that cramped. No space for luggage, nowhere to store it, and virtually no drawers for clothes. I appreciate it that they move me to a new room. Confirm you are in a suitable room when you book. Also, the service was either very good or laggard, depending on how busy it was. The manager did say he would look into that and appreciated my feedback.

Room was clean. We had a Deluxe room which was still very tiny. Location was prime being walking distance to the tube, shops, restaurants, and sightseeing. On the other hand for a "5-star" hotel, the service and staff (excluding the cleaning staff - they were great) was on the equivalent of a 2-star hotel. You always felt like you were bothering them. Checking in felt like a disservice to the man behind the counter. Nobody had a smile on their face. I think I got a total of 3 smiles in 5 days. We called about a thermostat issue, nobody ever showed up. At that point, I think we just gave up on thinking anybody would be helpful.
