A mixed experience. The positives: A great location, lots of space and really well decorated, beds were comfy and towels were provided. Company was very friendly on the phone and happy to answer questions. The negatives: This property is for sale which was not mentioned until after I had booked. We were told there might be viewings while we were there and it was verbally confirmed a few days before that they didn’t have any booked during our trip and that they would let us know if that changed. Cue our first day and an estate agent walks in with some potential buyers. She was just as shocked as we were. Obviously communication was not had around that which left a bad taste in our mouths and we felt our privacy was violated by not being given proper warning. The property also smells quite heavily of smoke. We don’t think people have been smoking in the property itself but from the flat below which has somehow seeped into this flat. One of our group went home early because the smell gave them severe headaches and affected their sleep. A shame because the flat is really nice otherwise.
