The hotel and room were immaculately clean and nice. The climate control didn’t work the first night but they comped my morning breakfast and fixed it that day. Would stay at a Z hotel again.

Staff courteous and efficient. Room was SMALL...as was the price! But I'll take small in a heartbeat, if it is also the very best of "modern". Spotlessly clean. Things WORKED. Wifi was easy. TV was easy, with good choice of programmes. Bathroom design and fittings first rate. Plenty of towels. I'd booked a windowless room with some apprehension, but the air handling was excellent. The air was better than I've frequently experienced elsewhere WITH a window. I'll stay here again.

The location is unbeatable. It’s close to everywhere. The room is clean. However, the room is way too small and the window doesn’t open. When we ordered food delivery, the receptionist didn’t allow the delivery guy to leave it at the front desk. I’m not sure if it’s just this hotel, or it’s a custom in the UK. We won’t stay there again.

I ended up at a different property due to a problem with my allocated room, but it was only a 2 min walk, and I was taken there by a member of staff. I was also given a complimentary breakfast and evening drink by way of compensation. Room (at the Strand!) Was clean and vey well equipped. Good shower, comfortable bed etc. Free Wifi worked well and a good choice of TV channels including Sky Atlantic and some Sky Movie channels. Breakfast was perfectly ok, but perhaps a little bit limited in choice of cereals etc. Staff were great throughou.

Never book this Hotel for two people and never pay more than $75 a nite. Good location and nice stafff can not compensate for a room 1/5th the size or most normal hotel rooms, and it is hidden in advertising images.
