The hotel itself is solid, and the location is great. You’re exactly where you want to be, with everything within easy reach.
But where this place really succeeds is the staff. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and that’s not marketing speak, it’s behaviour. When torrential rain caused some flooding and we had to move rooms (an act of God, not a hotel issue), it was handled quickly, calmly, and without a flicker of drama.
That kind of ease matters. Anyone can offer a decent room in a good spot, but it’s the staff, from cleaners to front desk who decide whether you leave feeling looked after.
