AVOID THIS PLACE! Read my first sentence again: AVOID THIS PLACE! The only positive is the location. After a 10-hour flight, our room was on the top floor. There is NO ELEVATOR, and the stairs are incredibly NARROW and STEEP. Hauling a 50lb checked bag up was a severe struggle. Returning later, we found two major issues: no hot water and a broken heater. The room was freezing cold. We called the after-hours number and explained the problems; I was told they would only contact us back "If they consider it an emergency." We were completely ignored and left to spend the night cold and dirty. The next morning, after brushing my teeth with ice-cold water, I called and messaged repeatedly for a repair. Zero replies. We had to leave for pre-paid events without any resolution and continued contacting them throughout the day with no response. It wasn't until I escalated the issue via Expedia, demanding a refund, that they finally replied. Expedia was helpful and got them to fix the amenities. They also informed me the hotel would refund the first night. However, when I contacted the company directly, they reviewed my issues and flat-out refused the refund. To make matters worse, they didn't even start replying to my messages until after I had checked out and was in another city! In summary: AVOID THIS PLACE! Terrible service, broken amenities, and dishonest refusal to remedy the situation.

The property is in very poor condition. It was extremely dirty - hair and dust everywhere. Bathroom was extremely humid. They said theyd send someone to clean and they did not. Terrible.

Loved our stay here. Communication on check-in was clear. The property was in a perfect location, just 1 block from The British Museum. 2 train stops nearby. The unit was very clean, modern and very quiet. It is a 3rd floor walk up with no elevator, so you must be prepared to walk the steps. The beds were big and comfortable. We would definitely recommend!

Excellent place for family of four with two teenage children. They each had their own bedroom and having 2 bathrooms was great. Very clean, comfortable, and a convenient location. No AC, but the windows open and there are plenty of fans, so we were very comfortable. Very friendly communications from the staff who made sure we had everything we needed.

Really enjoyed the space of the three bedroom flat! Felt homey! Very clean and in a great location. Though the beds were not the most comfortable and the toilet in the one bedroom made a high pitched noise often. The stairs were tough being we were on the third floor, a lift would have been helpful. Had a great holiday!

This was a little gem, centrally located property close to everything!! We walked almost everywhere, getting anywhere within 50 minutes or 15-20 via the tube. So easy and convenient!! Make sure to have your check in email prior to arriving, as stated there is no one on site for check in. The flat had all the amenities needed, all in working order. There is not centralized air conditioning in the building, but there were two fans to help cool and move the air around. The staff was responsive, we did have a question or two and got a prompt reply or help. We were also able to get an 11am check out, which was wonderful. The size of the flat was just perfect for two people, plenty of room to enjoy the space - so much better than a hotel. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you!!!

We could not get a hold of the property when we were having issues with the check in process, or when there were issues at the property. The toilet made this loud screeching noise for hours after flushing that would wake us up when someone used it during the night. Our room was also a fourth floor walk up, which was not mentioned in the listing and extremely difficult with luggage. Very unpleasant stay, would not recommend!

Clean & modern in a great location

Virginia House apartments were well appointed, clean and modern. We had an extended stay so needed additional toiletries part way though our stay, which we requested and received the next day. They were very accommodating by allowing us to enter a couple of hours before check-in once the cleaning had been completed as we had arrived early from Australia. It's an easy walk Covent Garden, the Thames River and the West End for theatre shows. Also, the Museum bus stop is less than a minute away so very easy to get anywhere on a London bus. Thoroughly recommended!

The stairs were rough. Especially after a long day of sightseeing, we really didn't want to climb the stairs. Very steep and narrow. Overall a great place. Roomy and the beds were very comfortable.

This is a great location, near two tube stations, and just south of the British Museum. It is also walkable to Covent Garden and Soho to the south. Lots of good restaurants nearby - esp Chinese and Japanese. Our flat (6) was on the third floor up some steep steps so not one for people with mobility issues. The flat was clean and well equipped, with everything you might need. We had a couple of queries which were dealt with promptly. There is a bit of street noise as it is in central London but nothing too awful. One thing that would help would be advice on how to use microwave, oven and TV. We are not luddites but they all needed a bit of playing with before we could get them to work. A sheet with clear instructions would be helpful. Also the extraction fan in the bathroom does not work so that needs fixing. But overall a great stay. Thanks!

Location was great, walking distance to everywhere. Flat was clean, had everything as advertised except for AC. There was no AC only a fan, luckily the weather was perfect during last week of August. We had the windows opened which made it a bit noisy.

７月に友人同士で４泊利用しました。 地下鉄・バス・徒歩など、どこに行くにも便利な立地でした。 ３名でそれぞれに寝室があるのがよく、キッチン・リビングも使いやすかったです。近所のスーパーやテイクアウトも利用しましたが、食事も美味しくできました。 ２点だけ、改善してほしいです。 最上階だったからかシャワーが弱いこと。 アメニティが１泊分しかなかったこと。 そこが改善されたら嬉しいです。
