Stayed here after submitting Mount Whitney and arrived at 12:00AM. The owner was sooo super nice. The room was okay, but all the chairs were stained.😱😱but the shower was hot and awesome water pressure.
I was very pleased with my stay at this motel! The staff were very sweet and my room was very big and clean! The motel was close to everything as well! Great service and location!
The room is nice, clean, large. I prefer more lighting. The property is convenient to restaurants and businesses. The only problem I noted is that the door is difficult to work.
Room poorly insulated for noise and heat. Aircon so loud it could not be left on at night so room got too hot, and snoring neghbour in next room also disturbed me. Rather noisy fridge too.
Poor value for price charged.

Disliked: Amenities
The pool was very small. No vending machines. Their sign had several lights out.
It's a budget friendly place to stay while hiking in the area. The front desk staff was accommodating when we had a few issues when first arriving. They quickly reacted and things were taken care of.
Would definitely stay there again.
Check in was fine, clerk was fine. Told me to leave key card in drop box upon leaving. I did. The day of check in my wife and I spent driving through death valley and checked in around 10 pm. My wife slept in her leggings, socks and t-shirt, I slept in my shorts and t shirt. The next morning after dropping keycard in box we went to a resturaunt down the street. I noticed my lower legs, where exposed to the bedding had multiple red spots and were itching. We left Lone Pine towards Winnemucca which was our planned next stop. By the time we got there my legs were swollen and badly bitten up. We cut our vacation 1 week short and headed home. I called the motel and told the woman on the phone I was bitten by bed bugs. She immediately said it was a new mattress and I contracted the bites from death valley in the sand. We have pictures of my legs in death valley with no spots and pictures the next day after our stay the I advised that she should have room 11 checked so nobody else would have this problem. She said it was clean. No problems and was rude on the phone. After arriving home I went to my primary care Dr. and she wrote me a letter that the bites I had were consistent of bed bug bites. The before and after pictures show it all. The lack of wanting to hear my complaint and address it and lack of the publics safety. I am not one to complain but this case of neglect and lack of concern is unacceptable. Lost vacation time, discomfort, plus several other costs incurred.
