Not what we expected!!

From the listing, it looked like this would be the perfect place for our family to stay for a short weekend while in town for a sporting event. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up what was advertised. First, the neighborhood is extremely loud, cars racing up & down the streets all hours of the night, a non-stop barking dog next door, and the driveway gate doesn’t lock. Second, it’s listed as sleeping 6. We had 6 people who needed a space to sleep. Some of our kids ended up sharing the twin over full bunk bed because the couch that was supposed to be a pullout, was not. The back of the yellow couch folded flat but there’s no way 2 people can sleep on that uncomfortable thing. There was also no blankets/comforters for the couch bed. We managed to find some sheets & towels to use. Thirdly, the “game room” has a dart board, uno cards & used to be the garage. The door to enter into it, doesn’t even shut or lock. The hot tub that was advertised, was only filled up 1/2 way & cold. After messaging the host, he advised me to fill it with the hose & wait 2 hours for it to heat up because there’s a energy conservation issue in Long Beach. By the time we arrived, we couldn’t fill it up to heat it up in time for our teens to use it. Lastly, be aware that the fridge does not have a water line or ice. It was WAY overpriced for the quality, cleanliness & poor location. I would recommend that the host add driveway lighting & fix door locking. This isn’t a place I would ever recommend to stay.
