Stayed at Glendale Hotel from January 6–9. The non-smoking room I was assigned smelled strongly of cigarette smoke upon arrival. I reported the issue multiple times to the front desk and asked about other rooms, but was not offered a reasonable alternative. The only mitigation provided was a plug-in air freshener, which did not resolve the issue.
As a result, my clothing and personal belongings absorbed the smoke odor. I attempted to resolve the matter directly with management, including multiple follow-ups, but received no meaningful response. I have since filed a dispute with my card issuer.
If you are considering a stay, be aware that non-smoking rooms may not meet expectations and that management may not address complaints effectively.
