nice surprise in Beverley hills

the hotel had a modern feel. we stayed in the king room, it had a pull out couch for an extra guest. The room also had a refrigerator and a coffee/tea bar. The features of the room were much nicer than other hotels. The celebrity artwork a surprise to see. Bathroom was a nice size loved the concrete design. Staff were very friendly, immediately jumped up to help with our bags and showed us to our room. Valet was a decent price, even with the parking garage right across the street. Will Stay again :)

Beware of this property. I booked my stay through Expedia and, as expected, was fully charged for this stay at the time of booking. The day after I checked in at Sonder this facility charged me AGAIN for the same stay. Understand I did not provide Sonder with my credit card so the only way I can envision they got the information to charge my card, without my knowledge or permission, is from Expedia. Now I have no confidence that Expedia and/or Sonder have my credit card information available for other improper charges. Additionally, while I was on the phone with the Sonder rep I was told they would have to "investigate" this billing (understanding I gave them the dates of each charge and the amounts charged) despite the fact they admitted they were able to see I had paid Expedia as I had stated. When my discussion this Sonder representative was going nowhere I requested to speak with his supervisor and that request was REFUSED. Unless you want to pay double and have your credit card information at risk do not stay at any Sonder property......I am now working with Marriott to see if they can get this resolved so not sure if Marriott is to blame here, yet.

This is an older, historic property. There were some spiders and some stains on the furniture. The rooms were very small, and the bathroom smaller. Perk is I wasn’t in the room much, and this is walking distance to all that Beverly Hills has to offer.

The hotel is located very close to the heart of Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive..it is beautiful and modern with an old hollywood charm..The staff is very helpful ..The Restaurant on property is amazing ..other great restuarants within walking distance.The Beverly Hills Sign and Park is within walking distance.

Fantastic location and comfortable stay

Fantastic location. Quiet street in the heart of Beverly Hills, Golden Triangle area close to great restaurants and cafes. Roomwise you get what you pay for. Not luxury but comfortable. Lovely bar & restaurant attached, complimentary wine at happy hour time which was nice after a long day walking. We extended our stay and were moved to a much bigger and better room. Would go again.

This place is absolutely not as described. I booked for a week stay. I checked in and checked out less than an hour later. I had to book an entire other week stay and Sonder refused to give a refund or credit of any kind because they said I cancelled outside of the cancellation period. Had the place been as it was presented, I would have stayed. Now I’m fighting for more than $1300 refund on top of having to spend an additional $1800 for a room elsewhere. Do not stay here unless you’re interested in a hostel style location.

loved staying at this historic hotel! it was so cute inside, the front desk staff was awesome and helped deal with our lost luggage when we had to go to a lakers game. the hotel is right off of rodeo and beverly drive, and when we woke up early because of jet lagged the front desk girl recommend us places to go that were open as early as we were. highly recommend!

There was no communication that the door may be broken & not automatically lock until I discovered it the following day when leaving the property, meaning that I found out the 2nd day of my stay that I likely slept with my door unlocked all night unknowingly which was a terrifying thought. My window was also next to the side of the building that had garbage & recycling, so there was loud glass banging when stuff being emptied in there for several hours late into the night. First time at a Sonder property & not sure I will return.
