The bathroom smelled like sewer and the shower looked dirty. Was not comfortable enough to risk showering during our stay. That being said, everything outside the room was wonderful. Would visit again but would not stay the night.

Fun to stay on historic vessel! Comfy and cozy!

We were sailing today on the carnival Firenze so decided to stay right next-door on the Queen Mary the night before. This ship is amazingly beautiful, such history after 90 years of service. The king size bed was very comfortable and the room spacious, considering the age of the ship and how they used to design them. The staff is very nice, friendly and welcoming. We had a really nice dinner in the Promenade Café. A little spendy but what you would expect for the location. it is what it is on such a historic vessel. The only complaints I have about the room is that it was really cold. As they explained when we checked in on a 90 year old ship, the heating and air conditioning is not going to be so reliable or efficient. They offered extra blankets if needed or a fan. The room did gradually warm up later in evening but if you’re on the cold side like I am, definitely bundle up and bring some layers. We enjoyed wandering around and doing the self-guided tour and exploring a bit before checking out. I would definitely recommend it if you’re going on a cruise out of Long Beach Harbor.

Lovely, Historic

Came here for a one-night stay for my husband's birthday. Our room's shower did not work, which we did not discover until the net morning when he went to turn it on. Also, the bed seemed to have dirt on it - another thing that we did not notice until the daylight of the next day. We were up so late, celebrting at the Observation Bar (which was wonderful), and then roaming around "ghost hunting" which was fun - that we just went straight to bed without looking at the sheets I was worried that it might be bedbugs, so I notified the front desk. We were already at the end of our stay when we discovered these issues. They said that they will remove the resort fee and parking fee as a concession, but I have not yet received the emailed receipt they said they were going to send me - so we will see... I don't know if this was just a hit or miss with the rooms, because we've stayed here before and had no issues. Our room this time was a Harbor View w/ King Size Bed, which we though was a step up from a standard room. We get that this place is old, and we weren't bothered by the lack of heating in the room. But no shower at all is an issue, and thankfully we were only staying for one night, and had showered at home before we arrived.
