There was constant banging from check in to check out. The fire alarm went off randomly at 5am when we were in deep sleep. The fire department came to our room maybe 20+ minutes later because our room was the cause of the fire alarm for the whole floor. A staff member then came to our room maybe 30+ minutes after the fire department came to check the alarm because the fire department had told them they need to replace and update their alarms. This woke us up again after trying to sleep. I honestly had very little sleep and had a long drive the same day. One lady told us we’d get a $50 refund. And at check out another worker told us we would get 50% percent back and 20,000 bonvoy points for our troubles. I personally believe the second choice is a far better compensation for our stay. If the bonvoy points aren’t possible I feel as if’s 50% percent return should bear minimum. Personally I believe a 100% compensation seems far more appropriate than a 50$ refund.
