The staff attendant was extremely polite, professional and helpful. Answered any questions I had. The room I stayed in seemed recently refurbished and everything was clean and tidy. Nice hotel for a quick stay over.

The room was a joke The hot water in the shower did not get hot The smoke alarm was covered with a plastic bag so it won’t go off The sink did not have a stopped attached And I killed a roach as well Also the air conditioner did not work as well It was a terrible experience

We stay in room 374 At 4:55 starter a huge noise that doesn’t let you sleep, I called to let them know what’s happening so much noise.. the answer was.. oh sorry is the workers in the restaurant.. you guys be little more professional and let people ahead of time.. easy..

The room was neglected by staff, we where there for four days and not a single day did one person from staff checked in to see if we need fresh towels or pick up the trash in the room….also the room had roaches

I'm not sure why this place has such a low rating (6.4); that worried me at first. However, I had no problem at all with the room, staff, or area. It's an older motel and not a destination in itself but the room was nice, spacious, and clean. I was in Long Beach for a Comic Con and it was about a 10 minute walk to the Convention Center. There is a Von's grocery store one block away, and a number of restaurants close by. The only negative I could think of was there is a light on the balcony that stayed on all night, so while the room was dark, it wasn't totally dark. No big deal.

Saw a roach in the room, the room phone didn't work so I had to call front desk from my phone, housekeeping was so slow bringing up cups and towels, and then they came in when we were out and had the "do not disturb" sign in place to give new towels and cups. The refrigerator was so old and did not keep anything cold. Rooms on the first and second floor get noisy at night without the fan running to drown out the noise. Great value for the room, if you really, REALLY need a place to stay last minute.
