The pool for Hyatt Preferred members was much nicer than the main pool. It was also much quieter and the service was very attentive. My main problem with our stay is that, as a preferred member, I expected a nice room location. Our room was terrible and overlooked the roof of Portofino. I asked the front desk to move us and they said they had something available for the following night. And it was only marginally better. We ended up staying there but I would have never paid that much for such a poor location. The food was pretty good for an all inclusive. The buffet was what you’d expect. The Italian restaurant and the Seaside Grill were really good options. Overall, we wouldn’t stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Dreams Los Cabos. The food was so good, lots of options for everyone. Endless drink options! All the staff were lovely, especially Irving who gave us a beautiful personal experience. He set up a beautiful private dinner on the beach for my boyfriend and I. Will definitely be making a trip back!

We had an amazing time at this resort! The workers especially made our trip even better. Especially Humberto (a waiter), Irvin (a waiter), and Jhon (Jhon Manuel from entertainment). Each of these workers made our trip unfortunately and made our experience at this resort worth every penny. All of these workers are such hard working people with the best personalities! Everything about dreams resort was everything I hoped it would be! From the beautiful beach, to the incredible staff and a special shout out to Dulce at the lobby bar, ~ ;) I never really felt the need to leave the resort, five excellent restaurants, incredible service, massages on the beach, books by the pool. Nice pool, nice property overall. Staff was very helpful in some areas but not in others. Construction and horrible noise all day in adjacent rooms but they finally moved up and that room was fine. They should take rooms and adjacent rooms off market if they are doing major work. VIP desk was helpful. They need more options for restaurants and food. Nice overall experience.

Disappointing Experience at an Average Resort We recently stayed at Dreams Los Cabos (Hyatt All Inclusive Collection), and overall, the experience was underwhelming—especially compared to other resort towns in Mexico. The property itself feels dated. Our room had a large crack in the front door and didn’t match the pictures from the website. Despite booking Preferred Club status, the only noticeable “perk” was easier access for timeshare representatives to corner us and aggressively push for presentations. It was intrusive and uncomfortable. Service was inconsistent and generally inattentive. Before our trip, we contacted the resort and were assured they could accommodate vegetarians and vegans. Unfortunately, this was not the case. We essentially ate bread and vegetables for a week. Multiple restaurants on the property told us they were out of soy milk, while others had it—clearly a lack of communication and coordination. This was by far the least accommodating resort we’ve visited for plant-based diets. That said, the resort grounds are walkable and picturesque, which was one of the few highlights. If you’re looking for a truly inclusive and modern all-inclusive experience, especially with dietary considerations look elsewhere.
