Did the all inclusive with my husband and adults kids. I’m a pretty picky eater and found the food to be especially good. Tomatillos and the sports bar had great food. The pool food and bar service was also excellent. The pizza at the pool was great. There was still some construction noise from the Bella California renovations but I was not bothered by it. Housekeeping was excellent. I wish there was another option for breakfast than the buffet. It would have been nice to have a grab and go for breakfast.

They never disclosed that the entire place was closed off with jack hammering all day. The restaurant by the ocean was closed off and the elevators were not working. They didn’t do a thing when I said it was unacceptable to sit and listen to saws and jack hammers all day.

The staff, at every level is always outstanding. Looking forward to coming back when the construction is over. Hotel was clean and staff was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately the hotel is small and limited. Only 2 restaurants and not a lot to do within the property that is all inclusive. There was construction going on during our stay. Which did not bother us in our room but would’ve been nice to have known before coming that 1 restaurant was being renovated.

They had a heavy construction, jackhammers all day long, would have been nice to know that prior to booking. Had to sign a receipt after every meal or just a drink even though it's all inclusive, not the best process. Staff were nice, good food

We had an amazing time at Villa del Palmar and would consider returning. The room was spacious and clean, and the staff was fantastic. The food was also great - we didn't have a single bad meal. There was construction going on, which presented a minor inconvenience when walking around. The wifi was weak at best.
