Overall we enjoyed our stay here. The staff are super attentive and friendly. The rooms are fine, nothing special. The food is just average but considering it’s an all-inclusive and they’re feeding hoards of people, that’s to be expected. I always appreciated the salad bar and fresh fruit bar. As for the free alcohol, we found out that Mexico has lower proofs on their alcohol so we started ordering doubles. We thought they watered it down! No, it just takes more to pack a punch.

Over all this resort is extremely clean. Staff was amazing. The food was just OK. The adult side was a smaller resort and you had to walk over to the larger resort for other amenities such as night clubs and sports bars, etc.. Views are amazing and pools were heated which is a must in January.

The staff was so kind and courteous… it’s someone cleaning nonstop everywhere you go, so very clean! Food was amazing, beautiful views, great weather all week. My overall experience was a 10/10! Would definitely visit again!

My sunglasses got snatched at this hotel and the reception staff (one name I remember is Arturo) didn’t help at all. Great all around except the feeling of insecurity clouded rest of our stay. I would highly recommend a western chain hotel Vs. RIU at Cabo

Had a weekend trip to Cabo. When I got to the property, I was impressed with how clean and nice everything was. The staff was excellent. The food was very, very good. It reminded me of the RIU in Madrid. Had a very European feel to it. Rooms were very, very nice comfortable and quite large. Only thing I wish is that I upgraded to an ocean view room. Oh, and the other thing is, there’s only one elevator that I saw in the front of the hotel. My room was actually downstairs and had a view of the Santa Fe hotel next-door. Can’t wait to go back. Elevator or no elevator I am still wanna stay here again.

Excellent visit in late January

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very comfortable and the service was great. Food was good. Drinks too! I am never happy that by the time you get to the pool at 9am - 85% of the chairs have towels laying on them. But, that seems to be everywhere... We also visited the 2 sister properties next door. The Palace seemed to be the quietest property -even though there were some children at the property. But - it was the end of January and most kids are in school....

We had avoided large resorts assuming they were impersonal and generic but Riu was recommended to us. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent- at all restaurants, any need was tended to immediately, the place is spotless, and the staff is helpful and friendly. We recommend Riu Baja California Adults Only- 5 stars!
