The staff was great. We were able to check in quickly. The specialty restaurants were above our expectations. We have been to Royal Solaris many times in the past. The food quality has definitely improved.

This is a 3 start resort at best and very fair for the price. If you are looking for a new or trendy place to stay, this is not it. The location is great if you want to be on the beach in SJDC. The staff was very welcoming and the room was clean. It is just an older property and in need of updating.

The place was nice and quaint and everything was good except for the Club Members thing where the resort is basically segregated to Club Members and the Peasants who are not club members? We won’t be going back

Staff is very welcome and supportive, 6 different restaurants in the area so you can choose what to eat, there two smaller pools for adults only for those who wants quite swimming experience. One disadvantage- you can’t swim in the ocean.

Kids Pool was very dirty, and cold, didn’t got clean all the days i was there. Food and snacks were the same every day. Not the best quality of towels or blanket in the room . There was a lot of repairs being done, and lots of spots to fix. I wish it was more kid friendly, I mostly saw just adults getting drunk.

The resort is beautiful with great beach access. Staff very friendly and food was very good. Enjoyed the entertainment. The building is clearly old and you could tell from the plumbing - everytime the toilet was flushed the water smelt like sewer. Toilet also got blocked and water pressure in the showers was awful. Overall a good experience but please fix the plumbing!

Horrible stay, food cold and old, front desk not friendly at old, if you want to eat on a restaurant need a reservation, we want to eat good. Pool service horrible. I only will give 5 start to the housekeeping lady!! She was so nice and even said have a great day! Never we will stay here again, also pay $300 cash for upgrade room with view at the ocean, was crazy since we don’t have that view ??!! Waste money, and time.

Room was beautiful, the pool was fun. After a storm, couldn’t go in the beach. Only complaint, no snacks and the restaurants were not what I liked.
