Our second stay here. We love the location, history and the vibe of the entire property. The Marina is such a short walk. The whale watching was spectacular. Saw whales off the balcony every day. Just the right size for an all inclusive.

The property is located on the beach but also flows up to the cliffs. Very unique layout with main lobby and some rooms at ground level rising 7 floors up the the casitas where we stayed. Easily accessible also. Our only disappointment was that there was not a dedicated Mexican restaurant and breakfast was only available in the Don Diego restaurant but the variety of food there was extremely good.

The staff is terrible. I had to checkout earlier because my daughter had a health emergency. They were very unhelpful through the whole process and failed to provide me with any documents I needed. The hotel was decent, the food/drinks were semi-decent, but if you have a family, and are looking for friendly staff who are helpful, I'd stay away from this place.

This is my 4th time at Sandos in Cabo, this resort is my favorite in the area and I’ve been to a few! The food is fantastic and all the staff is so friendly! I highly recommend Sandos to anyone traveling to Cabo! This resort is less than a 5 minute walk from downtown making everything super convenient and accessible! We always enjoy our time at Sandos and look forward to our next trip there! Definitely book it you’re thinking about it! Another very cool aspect about the resort is that it is the second established resort in all of Cabo San Lucas! They have remodeled numerous times, and have so many great amenities!

Very quiet resort. Amazing views. Be prepared to walk a lot, very spread out and a steep hill at the front if you leave the property on foot.

Beautiful resort. The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately they could not resolve the issue we had with our TV. They told us the language barrier was too difficult. And didn’t do anything to try to resolve the issue. Breakfast, snacks and lunch were great. Dinner’s were not good. I would suggest eating off site for dinners.

We really loved our stay at Sandos. Built into the rocks between the Pacific and the marina made for absolutely stunning views. We had a marina view room and enjoyed watching the marina traffic and nightly entertainment from our balcony. The staff was incredibly friendly; not fake or forced, just genuinely kind and engaging. Our housekeeper’s smile, Gloria, could light up a room. From our first dinner with Luis as our server at Agave to our last absolutely delicious breakfast at Don Diego, the service was exceptional. Make sure to try the Mexican coffee in the clay pot at breakfast! There were only a few misses on food, but overall we thought it was really good. We met so many fun people at the pool, and also enjoyed reading in the hammocks on the beach. Booking through Expedia evidently made us Royal Elite guests, however, we didn’t actually use any Royal Elite services. Thank you for the memories; we’ll definitely be back!

We had stayed at Finisterra years ago and this was our first trip back. The rooms are exactly the same as they were back then, although they are showing signs of age. We had several maintenance issues in our room, but thankfully they were repaired as best they could. The staff is excellent but several times at the restaurants the staff was thin and covering too many tables. The food was excellent. They have several classes of rooms and it is advisable to research them before booking. There are two types of Junior Suite Ocean View, The Sandos suites and the Finisterra suites. We stayed in the Sandos Suites that were the exact same room we had years ago that at that time were the standard ocean view room. The Finisterra suites have all the bells and whistles and better amenities.

Very nice hotel great pools awesome staff. Carlos is the best! Food hit and miss beef was terrible at steakhouse. Coffee not the best for a 5 star hotel. Need to bring back all day buffet if they had one in the past.
