Hotel room was clean, the island was an added bonus. The customer service needs improvement. My last night there I ate at the bar and waited almost 40 minutes before I had to eventually get up and walk to a staff member and ask for a menu. As a solo traveler I noticed couples and groups were accommodated immediately while I was ignored. When I checked out I made the front desk clerk aware and she brushed it off giving me an email address to express my concerns.

Our first room had a strange noisy hum, and the resort changed our room quickly. The second room was much quieter, until the remodeling started in the hallway outside our room unexpectedly on the third day of our trip. The hotel was nice, but really not quite worth the price that is charged for the room and resort fee. Those who are booking on sites like Expedia, beware that you’ll be hit with a steep daily resort fee on arrival. This is not included or disclosed on the Expedia website.

Maintenance workers on the guest room floors early in the morning talking and laughing very loud disturbing our sleep. The in room amenities were not changed from the last guests. The body lotion tube was 1/4 full and had been used These issues were brought front desk attention and the manager seemed disinterested
