No air con in the room and the fan just was not quite enough. Hotel was beautiful including the bar restaurant. Unfortunately the “spa” was tired and was like a public leisure centre. The gym also tired but large.

This property was under heavy construction, which I didn’t know about when I booked. It was very affordable, and I really it will probably be way out of my price range when it’s done. The hammering went until 10 PM, the elevator didn’t work, and there was a hole where a (much needed) refrigerator would have been in the room. But it was really nice, in a great neighborhood.

Great location within the beautiful town of Malahide. The town is endowed with many nice restaurants and has a beautiful promenade on the bay. Hotel is in the center of town and has its own drinking and dining options. Renovations were almost complete during our stay.

Good place to stay close to the airport, without staying in Dublin. The folks at the front desk were very nice. Rooms were clean. Wish the pool was open later than 8:30.

The hotel was really central with easy access to the beach,restaurants,shops and the Dart taking you into Dublin I wouldn't change one thing about the hotel it was perfect for our needs

Check in was very poor. No information provided at all about the hotel, no information on spa, breakfast times - just given the key card. Hotel was in state of renovation so multiple areas, including one of the main bar areas was not available - this was not made clear at point of booking or any discount provided as a result. Areas that were open were very busy as a result. Poor room, air conditioning units right outside window, could hear drains every time adjacent room flushed their toilets. Breakfast disappointing for the cost, buffet only, over-cooked - no options for cooked to order food which was expected. Over all, very disappointed and will not return.

It's a nice property with a great location. No complaints with our room. Loads of places to walk for entertainment and a meal. There was confusion with our reservation and we never fully resolved. BEFORE YOU BOOK A STAY HERE - read your reservation details CAREFULLY. They aren't flexible if there is any kind of issue. I booked through Expedia and they were of no help resolving.

We have stayed at the Grand hotel in Malahide twice now and we love it. The executive rooms are clean and spacious with lovely toiletries and a few extras to make us more comfortable. We had an evening meal at the hotel which was delicious but we only eat a small breakfast so the €25 cost was not worth it for us and we ate in a local cafe instead. The location of the hotel is perfect for lovely walks along the sea front and for exploring the shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes in Malahide. It’s an easy walk to the railway station and the castle too. We will definitely be back for another stay at the grand.
