First time staying at a La Quinta Inn. Front desk staff was friendly, check-in was quick, reception area was clean, tidy and presentable but the room I was given was filthy. There were hand prints on the headboard, a ring around the tub, poo splash spots on the wall, stains on both bedsheets, smears on the walls and the carcass of a dead stink bug above the window. The temperature was consistently inconsistent though the night. I was either freezing or super hot. I was in town for a funeral that same day and didn’t notice the condition of the room until I returned to the room later that night. At that point I was too tired to call the front desk to request another room and was planning to check out the next day. Luckily I had an extra blanket from home to lay on and under. The front desk was advised of the condition of the room and said the manager would contact me. Almost two weeks later, and I have yet to receive a call. I travel regularly and was curious about the La Quinta Inn, now that my curiosity has been solved, I do not plan to stay there again.

The room was spacious, beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very small but usable. The shower curtain had some small spots of mold and there was a hair on the shower wall. Otherwise, it was clean. There were several people around the property smoking marijuana outside in the parking lot.

When I arrived and finally got checked in, the room that they gave me upon entering the room had the belongings of someone else in the room. Thankfully no one was in the room at the time but it definitely wasn’t good having access to that room. It could have been a lot worse if they were getting dressed or naked or maybe even asleep. I went back to the front desk and they seemed more agitated than remorseful. I was pretty upset and the front desk person didn’t seem to really care of the magnitude of the issue. They eventually gave me another room key but that was about it.

Wonderful stay, friendly people.

Had a great experience. Check in was easy, i did it online. Room was clean and spacious. Housekeeping made sure we had what we needed. Breakfast was great, pancakes, waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, oatmeal, baked goods. Amazing experience.

The room we stayed in was horrible, there was ants and other bugs crawling out of the air conditioner vents and all over the sink while trying to brush my teeth, We ended up leaving at 5:30 in the morning as there was nobody at the desk to help with the issue or anyone to answer the phones… We were so upset about this visit after a long exhausting drive yesterday and just needed good nights rest before driving back home. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again.

We booked for 3 nights and left the day before the 3rd day. The associate at the counter said she was going to refund for the 25.00 for our dog for the 3rd day. that hasn't happened yet. It would not have been a huge deal except that it was her idea, she brought it up. Your customer service is terrible as I kept getting a run around on the phone.
