I I really enjoyed my stay in Majaro. Everything was very clean, the service was excellent, they answered quickly if we needed help, and the pool was excellent. I highly recommend it and would stay there again.

Pros: Charming and beautifully designed room with easy check in and check out. Perfect if you’re mainly looking for a comfortable, clean place to sleep. Wifi and WhatsApp connecting with Daniella was always easy. Cons: The surrounding area has unpaved dirt roads. Breakfast snacks weren’t replenished daily as promised. On our last night, the sheets were cleaned with strong chemicals, making it difficult to sleep due to the smell. As this is an independent run property, there is no on site staff presence. Overall: we had a pleasant stay and got good value for the price. I’d recommend replacing the daily snack breakfast with vouchers for the lovely breakfast place across the street, it would elevate the experience and attract more guests to this area and hotel.

Never saw anyone from Hotel took out are trash. Floor rotting in shower step on one side of floor boards you feel like your foot is going to go through while other side of floor goes up I have a video if you want to see it. Also had a cook top but no pans or bowls bottle openers no tv microwave

Perfect for a couple. Loved the ambiance and the touches of nature in the decor. Close to great dining options. The shower was a special feature that was outdoors. Felt private yet connected to nature. Enjoyed our stay.

This is not a hotel. There’s no staff onsite. There’s no breakfast offered as listed on Expedia’s page. This is a complete false advertisement. The door to the bathroom faces the outside pool and it doesn’t close. So it feels very unsafe. Anyone could fit and literally come into the room from the outside. There’s no security or door person either and there’s no where to park your car. The towels are stained and full of holes. I requested new ones and they were in even worse conditions. I would not recommend this places, cannot call it a hotel because it is not a hotel.

The most comfortable bed ever!! The bed was a big positive, the room was spacious and had a lovely balcony. The only thing is that the breakfast could have more options than toast and jam. Hiring a car is preferable. Veronica was on hand and very helpful

We arrived at the place and it smelled strongly of cleaning chemicals. I tried to air it out, however it was not possible. Then my sister started having asthma issues from the smell. I contacted the property that we had to immediately leave and find a new place. The property managers said the owner refused to provide any refund for days cost. I’m not happy at all.

Un lugar pesimo, NO RECOMENDADO

Una pesima experiencia, no hay parqueo, ni vigilancia, ni camaras de seguridad, demasiado ruido, por el restaurante de enfrente, lugar muy inseguro, sucio, piscinas muy sucias, pagamos 2 noches y las perdimos por miedo a q nos pasara algo a nuestra familia. Dejan la llave maestra en una caja vacia de vino, cualquiera puede ingresar a la habitación..... NO LO RECOMIENDO

Tulum - January - Zamna

We traveled to Tulum for a weekend trip to stay 2 nights and attend a concert at Zamna. We chose to stay at the Majaro hotel after viewing pictures online and seeing its cutesy and demure ambiance. The hotel did not disappoint. Hotel staff was friendly and professional. They accommodated us when we requested a later check out by 30 minutes. There is also a market and coffee shop across the street for essentials.

if you want relaxation…this is it.

Amazing boutique hotel! Wonderful & friendly staff (Sabrina and Veronica). The chilaquiles were the best I’ve ever had for breakfast! The only downside I had was within walking distance there is not much as they are still building up around the area. I’d suggest renting a bike or scooter.

Could have been so much better

Majaro hotel has a great design, charming courtyard with a small pretty pool & lovely rooms. The stuff are friendly & doing their best. But the overall lack of management is evident. Nothing is thought-through. Bathrooms are missing bathroom mats. When body soap or shampoo runs out, it’s not refilled. We stayed for 11 nights - bed linen & towels had not been chdmged, not once. There was a kitchen with a long, beautiful island in our room & a double hob - but no kitchen equipment, not even a spoon. Breakfast is included, but it’s terrible, amateurish, the coffee is bad too. Shame that something so well-designed is run in such a hopeless manner.
