Book Mabul Island hotels

There are just a handful of places to stay within a short drive of downtown Mabul Island, so we recommend you to make reservations at your earliest convenience if you are thinking of staying in a central Mabul Island hotel.

Although Mabul Island's not exactly known as Sabah's hotel hot spot, it does feature the Arung Hayat Mabul Lodge, which is relatively close to the heart of town.

Check out the Borneo Global Sipadan Backpackers or the Scuba Tiger Semporna Holiday Resort. The Borneo Global Sipadan Backpackers can be found 30 kilometres away from the centre of Mabul Island. The Scuba Tiger Semporna Holiday Resort is located 25 kilometres away. The Seafest Hotel and the Arung Hayat Semporna Resort are two other recommended accommodation options in Mabul Island.

If time allows, be sure to travel to other parts of the Sabah region. Sabah has rural landscapes, beaches and forests. Popular Sabah visitor draws include the nature museums. More active travellers might also try mountain biking, mountain climbing and hiking here.

Tawau Airport is situated 85 kilometres from downtown Mabul Island. If you wish to stay close by, you can book a night at the Shervinton Executive Boutique Hotel or the Hotel Emas Tawau.
