Cacaobetulia is an amazing experience. A working organic cacao plantation in a spectacular setting with comfortable, spotless rooms, excellent meals, a salt water pool, and lovely gardens filled with birdlife. But the real treasure is learning about cacao. Walks through the groves, a visit to the nursery and composting, roasting and shelling the cacao, grinding the nibs…the entire process through to making candies. Our only regret was we couldn’t stay even longer!

The hotel here far surpassed our expectations. This place was up in the mountains with fresh air, sounds of nature and the most beautiful views you can imagine. Everything about it was amazing.
