This is the most luxurious hotel I have ever seen. It was designed by John Jacob Astor who unfortunately was lost in the Titanic disaster. But thankfully his beautiful hotel keeps his legacy alive.
The architecture is absolutely jaw dropping. You will feel like you went back in time because the decor and amenities look like they are brand new even though they are intricately ornate Edwardian designs. This hotel looks like it's from a fairy tale both inside and out.Astor thought of everything. Every little detail in this place is impeccable.
The staff is extremely friendly and thoughtful and their service is excellent. They carry your luggage and walk you to the building with an umbrella if it's raining. They carry your luggage up to your room. The concierge desk helps you with whatever you need.
It was my mother and my birthday and they were so thoughtful and hooked us up at another restaurant for her birthday dinner. They gave us a personalized birthday card and treats. They gave us a tour of the basement which has historical artifacts and photos or autographs of many famous celebrities who came to stay to perform at the venue in a previous decade.
If you are a fan of luxury, history or VIP treatment this is the place for you.
