Upsetting Last Night

The last night that we stayed there, the people next door to our room yelled and banged on their door from 10pm to after midnight. It was extremely upsetting.

Weird small pillows

This hotel had the weirdest pillows I have ever had. Four small pillows 12" X 12"s. Very hard. When we asked at the desk if they had regular pillows they said no!! Beware!

Booking through a third party is not always the best or easiest way to go if you have hiccups in your trip. I had a huge hiccup in my trip! However, David helped me and guided me through the process of how to reverse the charges for a night I was unable to use. He went above and beyond and I was so fortunate to have him on my side. Not only was the issue resolved, he personally reached out to make sure ducks were all in a row for my stay. I appreciate you David 🙏

My room did not appear to be remodeled. The lobby and perhaps the rooms in the main part of the hotel are remodeled as described. The walls were chipped, the closet doors were difficult to open, the bathroom and sink area were outdated, as were many other things. The pillows were hard. I was put in an adjacent building of the hotel downstairs behind a set of doors where there were only 3 rooms. It smelled like a basement in the hallway down the stairs and in the hallway. Luckily, my room didn't have the same smell. It felt like a closet and while quiet - I was concerned about my safety since I was traveling solo as I was far removed from the rest of the hotel population. The phone didn't work ever while I was there (another safety concern). The cable went out for many hours one day, but the staff supported me and fixed that. Also, the internet went out multiple times but the staff was quick to get this fixed too. The property was clean, the staff was helpful, and the price was good.

Overall a Good Stay for One Night

Stayed one night for a concert that saw all hotels in Madison completely sold out. We arrived for check in 40min early since I knew it would be busy. The front desk worker was friendly, but informed us our assigned room was not yet clean. I didn’t push, but I couldn’t help but wonder why we couldn’t be given a room that was ready; you’d think they’d want to get people checked in as efficiently as possible since so many were checking in that afternoon (and our room was the basic booking category with plenty of that type of room). We returned 30min later to a line that stretched to the door- exactly the scenario I tried to avoid. The other front desk worker was also friendly and worked as quickly as he could to get us checked in. The room was showing its age in a couple areas but was very clean and spacious. For being sold out, it was very quiet. Beds and pillows were comfortable, and the shower water pressure was amazing. The hotel only has one elevator which can take awhile during peak times. Opt for the stairs if you can. The free breakfast was pretty basic but did the job. The one unforgivable mistake: the coffee in the lobby was definitely decaf though not labeled as such. Don’t mess with people that need their morning cup after a late night! Overall I was pleased with our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we are in the area.

We did not get a roll in shower as requested. We made do with a tub shower but it was hard because my wife uses a wheelchair that’s why a rollin shower was requested.

Very nice, clean, quiet room. The mattress was quite comfortable. One potential issue was that the shower was slippery, with no non-skid surface. There was a grab bar though.

Hotel is right off of one of Madison's bike trails and within walking distance of several restaurants and a grocery store. Hotel was clean, good breakfast. Room adequate. We got there early and weren't able to check in until mid afternoon even though the hotel/parking lot appeared to empty.

The good: clean property, good dining options walkable from hotel. Easy drive to downtown Madison. The bad: rep at the front desk not friendly, hotel needs some minor repair work such as patching small homes and drywall repair. Overall an ok bang for the buck.

Loud running and jumping between 2am and 4am by an animal in the room above ours. I can understand some movement but two hours in prime sleeping time is excessive. Also the room was very humid and made it feel like the sheets were damp. Breakfast was not as shown in the photos but palatable.

We stayed one night in this hotel. They knew they would have a sold out weekend due to Morgan Wallen being in Madison at Camp Randall Stadium. They did NOT staff accordingly. Even at 3pm our room was still not ready for check in.! The room was still dirty. Wrappers in the floor, bathroom not clean. We just needed to sleep some where after the concert.! I would never go back to this hotel because of the staff. They don't know what they are doing. Super disorganized. I do not recommend staying here especially during events in the area.
