The staff was friendly and the room and location were excellent. Unfortunately, I was met with pretty consistent noise at all hours of the day and night, including from outside through the closed window, as well as from the staff in the halls. I was awoken and kept up, and a couple times thought there were people in my room from the staff's louder musings in the hall.

מלון ממוקם ממש במרכז. ליד הגראן ויה ופוארטו דל סול. הכל קרוב העל ברגל. היינו 3 בחדר,מיטות יחיד. קטן אבל מספיק כי היינו בו רק למקלחת ושינה. צוות אדיב ביותר.עוזר ומייעץ בכל מה שצריך. מזגן לא נכי הכי אבל מספיק.

The only good thing is the location. It’s a tired hotel that needs a total upgrade to a minimum 3 star standard (it’s says it’s already 3 stars!!) There are allot of prostitutes working at the door of the hotel, as well as the homeless. The air conditioning in the room is not very good a Madrid is a very hot 39c. The housekeeping is very noisy at 7am with all the banging, and talking and laughing. Most people on our floor had the do not disturb sign on the doors.

The good: -Steps from Gran Via metro, lots of shops and restaurants. -Incredibly friendly staff. -Amazing shower pressure. The bad: -Hotel is in the middle of a tourist area so there are constantly thongs of people everywhere. -You can hear everything outside the room, either in the hall or outside on the street. -Rooms don't have coffee machines or kettles (but you can ask for a kettle).
