Top Notch!!

So glad we stayed here. The moment we approached the front door, we knew that we were at a special place. Incredible check-in process with a beautiful room. The woman checking us in went waaaaay beyond her job description. I'm bummed I forgot her name, but she called ahead to a restaurant she recommended and made a reservation. We also were given a complimentary welcome beverage at the lobby bar. After getting cleaned up, we went to the restaurant and the hotel had made sure that we were given a complimentary glass of champagne. The hotel is in a GREAT location as well. Some real upscale stores that are in walking distance. There were always cabs waiting which is a nice touch as well. The value of the cost was beyond fair. Stay at this hotel; you won't be disappointed

I honestly believe that the 5 star rating is totally exaggerated. The entrance is poorly maintained, the flowers are dry and poorly maintained. The location is very nice, though. The bar area is small and limted choices.Most of the staff was kind and helpful. Ivan at the front desk was rude to my girlfriend who called from NY then he confronted me and was nasty and totally disrespectful. The manager Laura was wonderful and sympathetic ( lost my cell phone .left it inside a cab).so were Nacho, Fernando and Paula, kind and attentive. My room was very small , even though I was initially given a room with no view...in front of a wall. Upon my request, Alex gave me another room on the first Floor. However, the noise emanating from a construction job was a daily nuisance. The phone in the room did bot work, neither did the safe deposit box. The positive highlight was the complimentary breakfast that Laura offered me before my departure. The furniture in the rokm was old and cheap. Nice bathroom. Nice and practical shower features. 5 dtars??? NO WAY

Ivan en recepción, lo máximo con sus atenciones. En chico del bar excelente también. Lo unico malo del hotel es que no cuenta con una carta de tomo service, tienes que descargar una app, si no tienes en ese momento la posibilidad, no hay servicio. Hable por teléfono y la chica que me contestó nada amable me dijo que vivíamos en un mundo digital, lo sé, pero en todos los hoteles del mundo hay un menú. Hay tanto documento en la habitación (hojas,menú de almohadas, etc) que no es posible que no haya un menú de Room service. De todo lo demás súper y excelente.

far from being a 5 stars hotel

I was in this hotel 5 years ago and it was in better condition. Today it is old, the room is tiny, with no circulation or closet for 2 people. Very dark, the lights are not enough to illuminate the room, even if they are always on. Our room was above the hotel entrance, which means we could hear every conversation. The staff didn't even say good morning. It is far from being a 5-star hotel.

I have stayed here before. The hotel and staff is excellent. My only issue was around 6am there was major noise coming in from within the hotel. Which interrupted my sleep. Any doors that would close near my room, I would hear it clearly.. the hotel is clean and staff once again being excellent, but in terms of quietness was not the best. No noise from outside.
