Hotel excellently situated for rail and underground, easy access to the centre of the city. Lots of places to eat close by, and the art museums are right on your doorstep.
Room was lovely and clean, really nice and quiet, bed was so comfy, slept really well, a few nice touches in the room too and the fresh fruit platter was a nice touch on arrival.
Public areas in the hotel were spotless, can’t fault the cleanliness.
Breakfast was okay, there was a good choice, but the hot food was cold and not that nice to eat, and the cold meats and cheeses were lacking in variety. There was often one of the coffee machines out of order too, which was a nuisance when it got busy. Ordering food from the kitchen wasn’t a great thing to do at breakfast, as most days we had trips planned, so hanging around waiting for cooked eggs wasn’t handy and we didn’t want to be late for anything. Don’t get me wrong, breakfast was fine, but I just feel it could have been a bit better.
Would I stay here again, yes, definitely, really enjoyed my stay, it’s a nice hotel.
