We have stayed here before which is why we booked again. The reception check in was good and friendly. The room was fine and bed comfortable. Our problem was we paid to stay at the hotel because of the pool. This time however there was nowhere to sit because there are a number of cabanas which you had to pay 60 euros to sit on ! This is extortionate when you are already paying to stay at the hotel. None of them were being used which was very frustrating as after a long day we wanted to relax by the pool but for an hour of relaxing we’re not prepared to pay 60 euros (we were told this was discounted!). We ate on the roof top terrace in the evening again could not sit on comfy chairs as again these were reserved but for the time we were there nobody sat on these seats. When the food arrived we asked for cutlery. When the waiter returned he said we have no knives or forks just spoons! We were not prepared to eat our meal with a spoon! We paid for the food and left. Overall very disappointing! We were going to return with friends in September but due to this we would not like to risk it. There was nowhere manager available to discuss this with.

Very nice hotel. Good location for many things. Staff are very friendly, helpful and proactive. Downsides: 1. They need more elevators, or to have reliable ones. They failed several times during our stay and we had to wait 5+ minutes each time or take the stairs. 2. Accessibility is generally good but let down by not having an easy way to get up the front stairs. We had a baby so I just lifted him and the buggy each time as it was too much of a pain to organise the special lift around back. Was OK for me, but bear in mind if you are disabled.

I want to thank Maria at the front desk. She went above and beyond. I was not feeling well and needed medical attention and she was so helpful every step of the way. The hotel is clean and in a very convenient location for sight seeing and shopping.

Great location near metro and Atocha train station (perfect for day trip to Toledo). Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and air conditioned rooms. Lovely breakfast, lots of choice. Just needed to wear ear plugs as room on floor 1 and near reception and then slept lovely.

Accessibility to the front door was not good. Our phone was not working so when we tried to order room service we had to go down to the front desk. Maintenance had left for the evening so it was never resolved.
