Excellent location. About a 5-10 minute walk from Atocha train station. Restaurants near or in walking distance. Staff were very professional and courteous. Room was lovely and clean! We brought our 2 year old pup and paid 30euros but the staff gave us a doggie bed and very helpful with any questions or concerns. Roof top was closed due to weather but the gym and garden was open. The garden area was beautiful with comfy chairs and tables to sit with family and friends for a lovely evening. Restaurant on location with basic food but price and food was decent. We highly recommend this hotel and we will be back.

Hotel excellently situated for rail and underground, easy access to the centre of the city. Lots of places to eat close by, and the art museums are right on your doorstep. Room was lovely and clean, really nice and quiet, bed was so comfy, slept really well, a few nice touches in the room too and the fresh fruit platter was a nice touch on arrival. Public areas in the hotel were spotless, can’t fault the cleanliness. Breakfast was okay, there was a good choice, but the hot food was cold and not that nice to eat, and the cold meats and cheeses were lacking in variety. There was often one of the coffee machines out of order too, which was a nuisance when it got busy. Ordering food from the kitchen wasn’t a great thing to do at breakfast, as most days we had trips planned, so hanging around waiting for cooked eggs wasn’t handy and we didn’t want to be late for anything. Don’t get me wrong, breakfast was fine, but I just feel it could have been a bit better. Would I stay here again, yes, definitely, really enjoyed my stay, it’s a nice hotel.

I loved this hotel. Very nicely decorated. Nice atmosphere in the lobby. A good place to get drinks and food. We liked the vibe. The rooms weren't really big but the king beds were proper king beds, which is tough to find in Spain. I loved the shower. I also liked how the sink and toilet were separated from the shower area. The only part that sucked was no fan where the toilets are ... the smell lingers for a bit.

Fun hotel but not for everyone. Pros: great location, staff, ambiance, amenities, and super comfortable beds. Cons: atrium rooms hear the concerts and lobby bar through the windows; we didn't mind, but light sleepers might. Huge shower, but no tub if you are traveling with small children. Trendy design = no door on the bathroom. No place to change clothes privately. Toilet has just a pane of frosted glass in front (like a public bathroom), and you can hear everything from the bedroom. Okay for solos/couples, but maybe awkward for sharing a room with a work college.

We are 2 rooms with 2 couples staying in 5 nights. Unfortunately, they don’t have change the bed sheets for every day! Only cleaning and tidy the rooms. When check out I told front desk they just say sorry and free drinks (coffee or tea) .

Nice hotel with ambience

Very nice hotel with great service professionals. Short walk to Train station and convenient to local shopping in a walkable and safe area. Quite a distance away from the city center downtown, cathedral and historical venues, will require transportation.

The hotel itself is very clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly. But know that if you are looking to sleep because you just traveled from somewhere far away- make sure you don’t have a room facing the atrium! The windows are not insulated at all and they have amplified concerts in that atrium. It sounded like the concert was in my room.

Home away from Home

The staff were amazing and the location perfect! Close to the train station, Prado and other sights. Highly recommend this gem of a hotel in Madrid!

1) The bathrooms have no privacy. They have frosted walls and swinging doors and the sink is outside the bathroom in the room. The shower opens directly into the room with no dry place to change or hang a towel. As I was traveling with my sister, we were totally not happy with this arrangement. 2) our room had a big (2ft x 2ft) pillar in the way. Also there was a pillar in the shower making it awkward. The swinging door on the shower caused water to leak out onto the floor. This room was our second room. We asked for a room that would better suit our purposes and were given (sold. We had to pay €25 per day for this “upgrade “) this room which was definitely NOT better. When we asked for a better room with a more private bathroom and no pillars, we were told all the bathrooms are the same, and sold this room with TWO pillars instead of one. If you’re a couple or don’t mind undressing in front of your roommate, this hotel is great. It was not acceptable to us. Believe me, we had several discussions about changing hotels. But our friends (a couple) were there and it just made sense to stay there also. That being said, the staff is AMAZING! My brother left his bag in our uber and we spent hours trying to find it , get the driver to understand us and get the bag back. The staff took this over as their problem and made several calls for us. They finally got the driver to bring the bag! The staff is the reason for 2 stars. The accommodations were very lacking.
