The staff at reception desk were kind and polite. The room was very clean and had a modern decor. The location is amazing. Amazing old building and elevator. For the price and location it was definitely worth it. Some minor things I didn’t like- water was leaking from the shower at night which was really annoying. Bathroom was tiny and the door closing inwards meant really limited space. Also no shelf in the bathroom to keep toiletries. Room was really small for three people (2 adults and one teen). I could hear lots of noise from the outside of the room in the morning. No kettle available.

Recomiendo este Hostal 100%, las personas encargadas de la recepcion son muy amables y siempre dispuestos a ayudarte. Las habitaciones muy limpias y hay mucha seguridad lo que hace tu estancia muy cómoda y agradable. Otro aspecto es que está localizada en un punto donde tienes todos los lugares de interés muy cerca. Yo repetiré mi viaje y llegaré a este Hostal las veces que viaje a Madrid

It is a nice hostel in a great location. The staff is very nice, helpful and friendly. The only issue I encountered was that the A/C was not working. It turns out that there are no independent room A/C unit controls in each room. The A/C is controlled remotely for the whole building. They had turned off the A/C option and only heat was available due to the change of the season. Although it was a little cool outside at night, the room was really warm. I was told to open the window but the room never cool down. Other than that it is a great place!

This hostel is the perfect location, Gran via is a 4 minute walk. other attractions, restaurants and convenience stores are near the hotel, especially bars. Father down you will find tapas bars and outdoor dinning, 10-15 min walks. All kinds of transportation are around. Train station is a 20 min drive from the hotel definitely recommend

Overall this was a great option, great location was walkable from everything and was very safe! the room was clean and was perfect for a cheaper option hotel. would recommend to anyone coming to madrid
