The room was clean the facilities were modern we were in room B114,there was constant noise in the corridor outside the room for approx 1 hour around midnight and there are no phone in the room to contact reception the hotel has many guests in the late teens/early twenties who were active until the early hours

Rooms were ok the issue is the staff they hardly do the bare minimum or less to help a client they seem to not really care, people can wait there while they have their conversation for and hour waiting for help and nothing happens they don’t even try to be helpful

Unfortunately this hotel didn't do itself the favour for its great location. I love its location and its laundry and gym facilities. However there are a few things that are very disappointing. Cups in th bathroom are reused ones which is fine but no one seems to properly clean it. They have those red moulds inside the cups. No utensils or not even a drinking cup in the room though they have great kitchen facilities.The restaurant downstairs even has a warning to tell people don't take their utensils back to the room. We ended up rather buying those bowls and utensils from the supermarket across the road than going to reception for it. What is the point for you to have such a great concept and ideas but not letting people use things properly. Noise is the biggest issue for our stay. Although we are facing the road, we hardly hear the traffic. However the ceiling is paper thin, zero insulation or poor insulation for the floorboardsYou can hear upstairs their walking clearly from their bed to the bathroom and back during the day and in the evening. Especially when people walking in their shoes, it is that loud you'd think they were walking in your room. When people walk on their barefeet, you can feel the room slightly shake because of it. Being woken up by footsteps is not fun. This hotel has so many great features, it has their great location, it offers students accommodation, I love every concept it from whoever founded the hotel. It is just so sad its service is not there.

This 3-star hotel gave me many pleasant surprises. It’s only about a 4-minute walk from Principe Pio train station and within walking distance of the Royal Palace of Madrid. Plaza Mayor is also not far away, making the location very convenient. The 24-hour front desk service made my stay easy and comfortable. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was large as well. If there’s one downside, it might be that rooms facing the main road can get a bit noisy. Overall, this hotel left a very good impression on me, and I would be happy to stay here again next time.

This is a perfect place if you’re back packing through Spain. If you’re looking for a nicer hotel to relax don’t choose this one. Many things weren’t working in our room and we informed the hotel but never heard back. Though we made it work want the worst but we weren’t backpacking we wanted more of a relaxed and nicer stay. If we ever backpack we’ll stay here otherwise we’ll search some where else in the Chueca Neighborhood. Closer to stores and restaurants.

This was the worse experience I ever had in a hotel and I highly recommend other guests to make sure they they will be placed in the hotel before confirm a booking in this place. The hotel is pretty a place for full time students and the feeling I had is that they save the worse rooms for outside guests....which it makes no sense, since obviously we are paying more. They put us in a room next to the entrance hallway, pretty much the first room next to the door which is slammed 24/7. So there are 4 doors you listen non stop getting slammed from the room, crazy! Then there are windows that you can't open because it's really next to the hallway where everyones sees all inside the room, so you can't even open the windows. Seriously, the noise in that room was insane, non stop, a real nightmare. On top of that, staff is horrible, zero welcoming, and didn't care at all when we tried to explain the situation. All they said was that they were going to talk to the "director" and she was going to contact us first thing in the morning. Obviously she didn't!!! And that woman that I forgot to ask her name, said that they all knew about the trouble in that room. Please do not book this hotel and take the risk to go through this nightmare!!! And I forgot to mention, the beds are hard and not comfortable at all. No space in the room at all either. And the hotel is totally overpriced. I don't see one positive thing about this place besides location that is not bad.
