We stayed here after arriving to Madrid for our summer 2025 Europe trip. This property was in the perfect location, close to all the great restaurants, bars, and shopping that Salamanca has to offer. It was quiet and safe and very welcoming. Perhaps the best part of this property is the fact that Madrid was in a heatwave when we arrived and the apartment was cooled down before we got there. This is VERY unique for an EU property so many thanks to the management for that one! I’d for sure recommend this property and would stay here again!

Low expectations…experience was still awful

Besides the location and ease of access, my stay at limehome Madrid Calle de Don Ramón de la Cruz could not have been worse. I booked a one night stay in a studio suite with low expectations. I just wanted basic, clean accommodations and at first I thought that’s what I got. Communications and instructions were all straightforward and automated access was great. But upon entering the suite, it just went downhill. It was a windowless unit with a small tinted skylight which offered basically no natural light. During the course of the night, a pungent sewage smell began to emanate from the bathroom. And at 3:30am I was woken to a loud banging noise and the sound of metal screeching across the floor of the exterior hallways…someone was apparently cleaning the floors. Horrible stay!

Our stay was a mixed experience. On the positive side, the location was excellent, situated in a central area on a semi-quiet street without much road noise. The check-in process was decent, and we appreciated the option for early check-in, although the communication about its confirmation could have been clearer. Upon arriving at our room, we encountered overpowering smell of cigarette smoke. Fortunately, once we managed to contact customer service, they responded promptly and quickly arranged for us to move to a different room. The unit was mostly clean and provided essential amenities, though smaller than expected. We faced challenges with temperature control, as the room became uncomfortably warm, and we couldn't find a way to adjust the heater. Overall, while our stay was adequate, we felt that the limited space and some maintenance issues might lead us to explore other options in the future.

rooms without windows

Horrible stay, pictures do not match with what you get. we received room without windows, no terrace. Heating did not work, so we had to sleep in temperature of 14 degrees. Found a electric radiator next day, but it heated only room, not bathroom. Contacted property via Hotels.com the answer came after 3 days. Only one window in the ceiling without any day light Next nigh some kind of alarm went off in the hallway and we could not sleep from 7 am
