This is the place you want to be at when visiting Madrid. Close to plaza mayor and puerta del sol. Very nice place to stay.

STAY AWAY from LIMEHOME chain. I had booked my hotel several months ago close to the main city center and Limehome sent me a email night before the checkin date saying they were going to relocate me to a different location 15 mins away from where I had booked because they had some “technical error”. The option I was given is to cancel or accept the change. The new place was nasty and far from everything. There were no good restaurants close by. We had to take Uber and spend $30-35 everyday. Besides this location was cheaper and I am fighting to get the refund back for the price difference. Again STAY AWAY from LIMEHOME.

The place was fine. Nothing special. There is a washer, but not a dryer, as stated when we rented it. The bathroom could have been cleaner. Near the entrance, it always smelled of urine. Communication was pretty much non existant. We got an email in the afternoon we were arriving with how to get it. Had we arrived when we could check in we would not have been able to get in.

Limehome is very centric in Madrid, less than 5 minutes walk from Plaza Mayor. It is modern, clean, spacious and well mantained. The check in was very easy and they were able to accomodate an early check-in request. I definitely recommend!!

Great location. Very clean. Great price. Would stay again. My only issue is the wording on the website about the information for accessing the building and the room. The website says the codes will be sent 24 hours before arrival. I now realize for security that is not accurate nor can be done. The website needs to clarify that information so that guests are not confused and stressed out when it does not come within 24 hours. It is really sent within 1 to 2 hours of your arrival.

Too close to the noise

It was a great place to stay overall, however, there was an ossue with my reservation and I was given the wrong studio. This cause to experience the city in a.different way. The studio I booked had a balcony and I got ome without. Because it happened to be during a weekend, the issue had to wait until Monday to get ressolved. Fortunately, the issue did get ressolved and at least I was able to enjoy the balcony on the last night in Madrid. The location of the studio was in the heart of the "Centro" which it was great, nevertheless, there are a lot of homless at the plaza next door and lots on noise, fights, and police activity. The apartments are very well equipped and modern. They have brand new windows that block most of the noise.

The location is very central and walkable to most attractions. The bed is very small even for average sized couple. The thermostat is set to cool and can't be changed so it gets chilly during the night.

Great place to stay in the heart of Madrid. You can walk everywhere and the Metro nearby anyway. With lots of cases you might want an Uber from the airport (about 20-25 Euros). Can be noisy if you are used to the quiet but hey you are in a big European capital. Highly reccommend.

Spacious room with lift & washer & drying rack

Location is quite convenient, walking distance to most attractions, restaurants & cafes. Very spacious room with lift (so no worries if you are traveling with large luggage). Apartment comes with a washer & a drying rack. Very clean & nicely maintained room. Our only complaint is that a wrong room was given to us, but should be some error between Expedia / Hotels.com system to hotel’s system. But Limehome was responsive & helped checked. Very much appreciative for their customer service nevertheless.

Overall a good stay. Right by Plaza Mayor and walking distance to many attractions, including Prado, El Retiro, Puerta Sol, Presidential Palace, Plaza Espana etc. Property is clean and fairly modern. Small washer in bathroom did a good job. Quiet and I slept well. What could be better is check-in process. Despite claim that codes will be sent 24hrs before they were emailed only 1hr before (2 pm). When travelling you might not be on data plan and rely on public wifi which might not be always available. I was coming in by Train which had wifi so it was not a problem, but someone might have an issue. It should also be clearly stated codes would be sent 1hr before, not 24 hrs, to avoid confusion Shower was leaking a bit and handle could not stay fixed. Rubbish basket was small; I stayed 6 nights and it was unclear where/how to take trash out. Kitchen table is super small even for 1 person, 2 wouldn't even be possible. Overall a decent stay and one I'd probably recommend.

Beautiful rooms, perfectly clean with everything you need inside, spacious and modern. The best place to stay in Madrid if you need an apartment just for yourself, perfect location! Perfect apartment!! Highly recommended!!
