Hot hot hot! They decided to shut down the air conditioning in the whole building for the season while it’s still over 25 degrees outside. It’s absolutely insane, lots of guests complained and they didn’t even have fans to offer. All they offered is open the window which didn’t help much. Not sure what the reasoning to do this when they advertise air conditioning.

Sheet were dirty, I reported as soon as I arrived but they never sent anyone to change them. The kid across the hallway screamed to his videogame the whole weekend, I also asked front desk but they didn’t do anything. You have to register in an app to access the room; a different app to use the laundry, which has only one dryer for the whole building. I was only able to dry my clothes after midnight. You need to check in a few blocks away from the address of the booking, and the room was yet in a third building. Lots of walking.

My booking was on one address, and the check in was a few blocks away. But, when I got there, there was a sign telling me to go to a third location, again a few blocks away. Luckily, I only had a backpack, I can’t imagine all that walking with a suitcase. Avoid this place if you have luggage.

This place is an experiment in humans helping other humans. Check-in location was a challenge to locate, there were no obvious signs to direct us. Luckily, we encountered another guest that experienced similar confusion and directed us to the checkin office. The key card assigned to open the room had issues with the main entrance. Another guest let us in. No issues once we were in the building. I’m giving a two overall since this seemed to be a new concept, but experimenting with guests that are not familiar with location can be a stressful situation. The room was generally clean and did not stay long enough to gather if location was convenient.

Very good value for money, coffee place and supermarket next door. A bit noisy and the bed was not very comfortable, missing pillows and AC did not work properly. Veery cheap compared to other options, so I cannot really complain... perfect for budget stay in Madrid if you do not spend much time in the room!

Very nice room with A/C. Walking distance supermarket. Good pizza across the street. No refrigerator. A small fridge would be great. Very small 2 packages of shower/shampoo gel. I had to buy bigger ones in the supermarket.

My toilet broke halfway into my one week stay and there was no attempt to resolve it. There was a screw sticking out by 1cm out of the ground in front of the dresser I kept stepping on. Will not take out trash or give a new towel. Took a day to get a wifi password. Very difficult to reach the front desk. The interior is clean and modern and that was the saving factor. Would not recommend overall

This is a dorm residence. We booked a room considering pics on Expedia, amenities etc. We were placed in an annex with no access to amenities. Check in was long and cumbersome. The first night when we returned from sightseeing we were locked out of room…45 mins to figure that out. If price is your number one consideration, this may be the place for you…otherwise choose another.

The "check in" staff seemed committed to succeeding. Look I think I understand the business model, presumabling gouge the students during semester times, then use the resources to make money during student vacations. But checking in is a nightmare as they try to minimise staff through virtual means which leave punters without people to help, esp if your phone isnt working. It took a while and some walking between venues - looks like a conference took priority. The room itself did not even have a cup to make a cup of tea and the aircon was ineffective. It was not a comfortable stay. Seems located out in the boondocks too.

Terrible registration process. At around 11 PM, they made me and another guest go to a different building (a 7 minute uphill walk) to register (which took a good 20 minutes), then the registration lady told me that my room was at the original location (a 7 minute walk back), only to find out that my room was actually at a 3rd building, (another 7 minutes away, also uphill.) - Absurd! Finally, the facilities are located in an industrial/commercial area with no restaurants or entertainment near by. - Would not recommend.
