Hotel with great location. You can find good restaurants & museums around.pillows were the very best. Room might need a bit updating but it was probably the room I chose. Staff was attentive. Sweets in the lobby were a great hit with my daughter.

Our favorite hotel in Europe

After five family vacations to Europe with twin boys (now 13), Hotel Villa Real wins our favorite hotel in Europe. The room was amazing for our family with two levels, one for the kids and one for Mom & Dad. Breakfast was amazing and the staff were super friendly. We need to go back.

Great experience in the hotel. Front desk staff were top notch and very helpful. The reason for the reduced rating is our experience in the hotel bar. Very rude bartender. He was obviously busy but didn’t need to slam a menu down in front of us and all but tell us he was too busy for us. This is, remember, a 5* hotel we are in. We left and didn’t return to any dining options at the property. I told the front desk staff but never heard anything back. Great location, near the Palace Hotel. Very walkable and safe. Room was lovely.
