The restaurant was excellent on site very friendly. The guys that run. The place are very nice too but communication is a challenge sometimes as the workers and general manager don’t speak English well but they do try. They’re also very accommodating room was quite cold when I got in broken thermostat, but they did their best to accommodate buildings are older on the outside and we’re surprisingly nice inside mattresses could’ve been a little more comfortable but overall finishing was impressive, Restaurant was extremely surprising. Just really, really good.

Great place !!

Super freindly guys at reception. They were so kind and helpful!! The area is nice and the paths are great. The house was so lovely and had everything we needed. We had some amazing sunsets!! Only wish the restaurant was open and bar was running..it was always closed so we had to make sure we were well stocked.

The cottage that we stayed in was roomy and clean. No complaints at all. The restaurant attached to this resort is top notch! An overall great stay!!

The property has no proper heating Small portable heaters Not enough blankets Hydro went during my stay and it was very cold. Floors are also uneven Washroom was also not well maintained for cottage 2 Floor was breaking into pieces

We stayed for one night and found it to be a 2-star experience, so lower your expectations. The bed linens had burn holes, tiles were missing in the bathroom, and there were no basic toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. The furniture was really olf, uncomfortable, dirty, and should be thrown away—there was nowhere to be comfortable except outside. We didn’t even shower because we were grossed out by the condition of the shower. It didn’t meet my expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend unless you are ok with those standards.

The location is amazing but the cottage we were assigned to needs some serious maintenance. The floor seems sagging and the toilet and the overall feel of the cottage was not worth the money spent. Raj at the reception was amazing and courteous.

It is a huge change from what it was before. Owners changed and entire property needs to be updated. Poor communication, they try to charge my credit card as soon as I made a reservation instead at the property. Nobody ever came to take the garbage or recycling away. We had to go and ask for clean towels too. All together very bad. We will not come again or recommend this property to anyone

Great family getaway

We really enjoyed our family trip to this resort. The hot tub cottage was great, the restaurant was amazing, the owner super nice and available to help 27/7, ice cream shop great, beach - nice and clean and overall great family getaway! Strongly recommend this place! The only reco is - check ahmiclakeresort website cottages description for more accurate info then hotels.com . Thank you, Raj!

I went with a group of friends and it was just the beginning of the season so we had the entire property to ourselves. All the staff were extremely friendly and nice. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable. A separate shout out to Michael and Raj. Do ask for them when you visit.
