Best accommodation in and around Hluhluwe

Bhangazi Lodge is a lovely guest house in central St. Lucia. My room was large and clean with its own bathroom, a slider to the pool, TV, and a refrigerator. AC was excellent and they had power available even when the town power was out. Kettle in the room as well. They served a hot cooked-to-order breakfast which was included and delicious. Also coffee, tea and bottled water were always available. Walkable to the town and the beach, but at night you have to drive due to the hippos wandering the streets. There are a lot of restaurants very close. There is parking at the building behind a gate. Very secure. The host Simon was extremely knowledgeable about the area and what to see and do. I highly recommend staying here.

It was very nice staying here! We’ve had a long way before arrival but ended up getting a bigger room and some nice recommendation's for dinner - very lovely!

We booked a last minute stay at Perna Perna and were very happy with the value of the accommodations. The staff were accommodating and sent thorough communication prior to arrival. Check in and Check out were easy. The unit was clean, the beds were comfortable.

Whether relaxing on my private deck or exploring the nearby paths, I was immersed in the peaceful beauty of the bush. Watching the sky shift at sunrise and sunset was magical, reinforcing the lodge’s calming atmosphere. Leopard Walk Lodge offers the perfect combination of luxury, privacy, and connection with nature. For anyone seeking a true escape, it’s a place to reset, recharge, and leave feeling refreshed and ready for what’s next.

Clean and affordable. Great service. It is like a sububan condo , practical but without much charm or personality.
