Aetovigla Guesthouse
Aetovigla is a group of six detached fully furnished cottages built from curved stone and wood according to traditional architecture and with respect to the environment.
The village of Krousonas, in the foothills of Mount Ida, or Psiloritis, is home to the Agia Irini Monastery, now run as a convent. Dating back to at least the 16th century, it offers views of the countryside. The small Thirathen Museum of Musical Instruments displays traditional Greek and Cretan instruments, and also hosts concerts and workshops.
