Amazing suite in the Village Lodge resort.

This is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath second floor unit with balcony overlooking the shops and restaurants on Minaret Road (Hwy 203) in the heart of the Village at Mammoth.
The Village at Mammoth has everything you need for every season.

One of the bedrooms is an en suite (private bathroom). The unit accommodates up to 8 people in your choice of 1 King, 1 Queen, 1 Full and an additional pullout queen sofa in living room. The suite is just steps away to winter/summer activities, restaurants, shops and more. Some suites in the village claim to be ski in/ski out but, here it is more like ride the gondola out and ski back. Once you arrive in the underground parking you never need to drive again. We have one parking pass available in the unit once you check-in. Other nearby paid parking is available as well.

The Village gondola is only a few steps away or you can conveniently walk across the street to the free shuttle stop before the Main Lodge.

In the summer, you can watch concerts, fireworks, or other shows in the Main Village Square. Our balcony looks over Minaret Road so there's always good people watching. There are are also activities, festivals, restaurants, shops, biking, hiking, horseback, water activities and more.

The suite has a large kitchen with everything you need to feel at home. There is a general store on the first floor with groceries, alcohol and necessities if you forget anything for your trip. Price of unit includes all the resort amenities including Free Village Wifi, heated resort pool, 3 hot tubs, 3 outdoor fire rings, and 3 fitness centers. Our building (White Mountain Lodge) also has a private hot tub and workout room for guests.

The entire building is handicap accessible and we are near the elevator so it is very easy to get too and from your vehicle or the gondola!

The suite is a few steps from Vida Coffee serving some of the best coffee and treats on the mountain. It just doesn't get any more convenient than this. They have great breakfast items and pastries to fuel you up for the day.

The suite includes a reverse osmosis water filtration system in the kitchen. That means no lugging up cases of drinking water during your stay. Most suites only have highly chlorinated tap water available, purified drinking water is an absolute must at 8,000 feet. Makes much better coffee too!

The suite is located in the heart of the village (above the New York Deli Restaurant) so you can be part of just about everything. That does mean a little more noise on the weekends and holidays, but that's Mammoth Village.

Good location. Kitchen had only salt and pepper and coffee. No sugar, tea etcYou need to be a gymnast to get in the upper bunk bed. Air condition is a floor model that is noisy and not efficient . Shower in master bedroom needs a new shower head.

This condo filled our needs as an off season base for exploring the area as well as Yosemite, Ancient Bristlecone National Forest, and other surrounding sights. East facing windows flood the rooms in the morning - lovely for starting the day. The listing’s lead photo is accurate, but it doesn’t tell the whole story. The photo was taken from a position 20 feet from the living room window. Out all the windows, and in front of the deck, lie Minaret Road and a large parking lot across the road. This bustle is not the beaucolic setting the photo suggests. Our stay was in early September, the low season when things were relatively quiet. A note in the in-condo welcome package announces that the village is known for its night life and can be noisy until late at night in the high season.

The condo was in a great spot close to town and convenient for walking to shops and restaurants. It was clean, comfortable, and had enough space for our family.That said, future guests should know that the unit faces the Main Street side and mornings can get very loud starting around 6am with delivery trucks and workers. If you’re a light sleeper, earplugs are a must.Also, be prepared to bring your own towels (especially if you’re a larger family, since there aren’t enough provided), and there’s no washer or dryer in the unit, so you’ll need to do laundry off-site. A few additional kitchen appliances would also make longer stays easier.Overall, the location is great if you want to be in the middle of everything, but keep in mind the noise and lack of laundry if you’re planning an extended stay with kids.

Skip this condo. Floor plan and location is fine. Owners gave me the wrong access code for the key, poor responsiveness resulting in late check-in. No shower gel or bar soap, no facial tissue, white towels looked soiled. There are many excellent hosts, doesn’t make sense to settle for this property the way it’s managed. Will not recommend.

Matt and Kelly were very accommodating to an early check in and quick to respond to messages. We did notice water leaking through the light fixtures in the bathroom from the unit above us. Maintenance was notified but we didn’t have any resolution before we checked out a day and a half later. The unit is in a great location and has many restaurants and shops within walking distance.

We have been to Mammoth often and this property is in a great location in the village. The building is starting to get tired and the apartment is fair. It's time for the building to make some upgrades.Check in was super easy and owners were accessible.Our main issue with the apartment was that it was so hot. Despite turning off the heater the apartment was too warm. In fact my clothes burned as I set them too close to floor heaters. There was also an underlying aroma to the apartment that was fine and bearable.

Great location - walking distance to gondola

We have always wanted to stay at the village and when we found this property, we knew we had to book it. It was just as decribed. The two rooms were perfect for the 4 of us. We were glad that we read the reviews that said the place ran warm and we packed lighter pajamas and clothes to wear in the house. There was a bit of street noise and party noise from the village but we expected that given its location. We will definitely stay here again if it’s available the next time we come back to mammoth!

Great location, only one parking spot which can make things inconvenient if you have more than 1 car. Two full bathrooms, one pull out couch, one king bed and then a bunk bed with full on top and queen on bottom. Beware master bath toilet clogs and several of the blankets had hair on them.

Location location location

Parked our truck and never drove it for 3 days. Excellent location for skiers/boarders. We cooked in & dined out. But unfair & a shame prices jacked up for the holidays, the only time some people get to vacation.

Great location in the Village, but lacks basic in-room amenities

Pros: Unit is in the Village Lodge which is a nice resort with lots of amenities. Location is fantastic, right by the gondola with lost of restaurant and shopping options near by. Unit is nicely furnished and matches the pictures online. Beds were comfy and kitchen was nicely stocked for cooking. Check in /check out was very easy. Cons: There are no toiletries of any kind available, no hand soap to even wash your hands in the bathroom, no tissues, there is a Keureg coffee maker, but no coffee pods provided to use, there is a broom but no dust pan so sweeping is not possible, no smart TVs, just satellite cable. The room also lacked in some cleaning when we arrived - we found several long black hairs including a large hair wad in one of the bunk beds. When we used the robes to go to the hot tub, we found an old key card in one of the pockets, so I'm not sure those were cleaned before we arrived either. The unit does not have it's own thermostat or way to control heat and it is insanely hot, especially at night. We slept with windows and the doors open and it was still quite warm, and also very noisy from the street below.
