Lake Therapy is a very charming and cozy lakefront cabin on Little Twin Lake outside of Mancelona. It includes 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on each floor as well as a washer and dryer in the basement. Includes high-speed Wi-Fi, large streaming television, workstation, private dock, 4 kayaks, and a peddle boat! This exceptional property allows for some relaxing lakefront therapy with modern technology to support working from home as needed. We invite you to come and relax at the lake!


NEIGHBORHOOD:

The cabin is in a great location in the heart of northern Michigan! It's close to most of northern Michigan's attractions including Traverse City, Gaylord, Petoskey, Charlevoix, ski resorts, golf resorts, Lake Michigan, and Torch Lake! The immediate area is very popular for hiking, fishing, boating, and snowmobiling.


ACCESS:

Guests are provided with full access to the cabin and the exterior, including the lakefront. There is a smaller cabin on the property (not shown) that is locked off and is not for guest usage.


THE SPACE:

The home now also has a brand new (implemented May, 2023) entertainment area in the partially-finished basement featuring a very large sectional, a large television, and an air hockey table! It's great for having fun and keeping cool in the summer!


TRANSIT:

It is recommended that guests have their own vehicle.

Please note that the home has exterior security cameras both in front of the house and in back of the house. There are no interior cameras though.

The house was closed up and very hot when we got there, which was a concern... but it cooled down and was cooler at night and ended up being great. We used the fire pit at night, the lake was wonderful and having kayaks made it a lot of fun. We loved the area and all enjoyed our stay.

Great family vacation

My family of 4 plus 2 dogs had so much fun at this property! We enjoyed the movie room downstairs plus the foosball, air hockey, darts, and the hook & ring toss game. Outdoors, we enjoyed the fire ring, the peddle boat, and the 4 kayaks. The lake had a sand/mud bottom, no rocks, and it was not busy at all. Very quiet neighborhood. There was also a small fenced in area next to the house that was perfect for letting our dogs roam freely with supervision. We ate at the Casa Nueva and got dessert at the Dairy Delight. We played tennis at a park in Mancelona, went walking at Seven Bridges & Rugg Pond Dam, and rented a boat on Torch Lake, which is only about 40 minutes away. Definitely recommend this property for a nice, relaxing, family vacation!

Great Lake front home

The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. There was plenty of room for the whole family. The listing did not show pictures of the basement but it was amazing. I would definitely go back to this house for vacation again

We enjoyed kayaking, taking walks after dinner and swimming in both lakes. The house is also fairly close to kiltiple day trips, such as Sleeping Bear Dunes.

Fantastic Vacation Home

Our family of 6 had plenty of room and LOVED this home!! The lake is so clear and it was beautiful to see the loons. We loved the kayaks and pedal boat. The bedroom/bathrooms/kitchen/living rooms were all perfect. We loved air hockey, darts, and foosball. I would definitely recommend this house!!

Family Get-together at the Lake

We had a great time at the lake house. Even though one day of our stay was a washout due to rain, we were all entertained by various games made available by our host. The home was spacious and clean and everything was well maintained. Our kids had fun exploring the lake in the kayaks that were provided, and we all enjoyed a nice campfire and smores by the lake in the evening. We hope to book the house again in the future!

Winter getaway

This was a really nice house. The owners decorated it for our New Year getaway, which was much appreciated. The house was very clean, it had a lot of space and nice activities in the basement. The property has a nice sandy-looking lake shore. Unfortunately our trip did not go as planned. There was no snow and the lake wasn't frozen, thus we had to find activities outside of what we initially hoped. Because nearby towns are tiny, we ended up driving to Traverse City twice. Overall very spacious, clean and well maintained property.
