The ‘cosy’ room had everything we needed. The issue was you couldn’t walk around the bed. My husband couldn’t get up from his side of the bed without climbing across it (and me). This was an issue in the night and caused poor sleep for us both. The location of the hotel was great for the city centre but we wouldn’t stay again. We were happy with ‘cosy’ but not having room to walk around the bed is poor.

Room and hotel generally was pretty nice. Unfortunately on arrival, the lift was out of order and the bar closed due to a private event. The room was nice and very clean but the shower thermostat was broken so unless you had asbestos skin you couldn't have a shower. Told reception and all i got was... oh sorry about that!

The hotel is conveniently located and is very pretty. Staff is friendly and helpful. The design of the hotel and room was very nice. Overall I liked the room but there were a few small things that made it Good rather than Excellent. There were issues with the lift not working. The area outside is very busy and loud on the weekends late into the early am hours. Not the hotel's fault but you could hear a lot of people yelling and partying. The water didn't remain very hot while taking a shower. The lights were pretty but the switches were a pain to operate if you only wanted certain lights on or off. I would stay again but just be aware of some of the issues.
