Come and relax in our spacious and bright holiday home. If thrill seeking boat activities are your thing then this is definitely the place for you. It s easy to launch your boat down at the local boat ramp and there is loads of room to park your boat on our section. Or if it's relaxation your after get out the hammocks, get your book and enjoy the peace and quiet and some down time. It s a great place for children with the lake being safe to swim in and there is a great park for families to enjoy. There are lots of nice walks and Mangakino is part of the Waikato River Trail cycling track. It is only 30 minutes drive to the thriving city of Taupo for a hit of coffee or a spot of shopping and Taupo is jam-packed with activities and attractions to suit everybody.
Just a 30 minute drive to Tokoroa and 45 minutes to Rotorua. Drive for an 1 hr 30 minutes and you could be carving it up on the Whakapapa ski field. Mangakino is central to everywhere. Don't delay book now. The Mangakino secret is out.

What a great house, so well laid out. I think the combo on the open porch & LARGE covered porch was the highlight, gave us so many options for different weather, even when it was raining

We have stayed in a number or places in Mangakino and I would have to say this bach has been top notch. Spotless and an abundance of everything a home requires from crocery, glasses , pots and pans, cutlery, cleaning stuff.The deck is a great asset to the home.Wish we could have stayed for a week but unfortuately my children need to come home for work.Will definately check ti see if bach is available next time we come to Mangakino.

Even tho i pretty much just slept there as we had our family reunion just up the road at the marae was great to come back to our own space and chill all over this bach is one of the best there are in mango and is reasonably priced to boot would definitely book again

Awesome little stay for work

We come from auckland to stay why we did the MX champs in tokoroa for the weekend we thought the bach was awesome for the time we got to stay the beds were awesome the bunks even catered for our older children / workers everything was there that we needed and the neighbourhood was quite nice and easy to find hope to stay again thank u 😀

Fabulous Stay

This house was perfect for 9 Friends visiting the area doing a walking event. Plenty of room, the outside deck was a wonderful place to relax at the end of the day, having 2 toilets was awesome for 9 women, tidy and clean and easy to access, the communication and instructions from the owners were clear and easy to follow.

Really nice place to stay, would recommend. Was however difficult for us to adhere to the cleaning requests of the owners as we had to leave the bach before 7am so as to be in Tokoroa by 7.30( NZ motorcross nationals) one of our group had to therefore dash back and vacuum, clean, make beds etc and then dash back to the competition, not ideal. For the price some of the cleaning could be out sourced, and if we had known that this regime was in place we would have stayed elsewhere as it was not suitable or practical for us.

Excellent holiday bach

Great holiday home with everything we needed. Amazing large kitchen, two fridge/freezers, great big sunny deck, two toilets, air-con. We will definately stay at this great place again.
