If you are looking for an authentic farmhouse experience, and enjoy watching the world go by at a simple, more relaxed place, then Chalet L'Otavalo could be the place for you. Chalet L'Otavalo is a homely rustic chalet which is ideal for families with children. The views across to La Tournette are breathtaking, and we really like the fact that the owners are happy to share their family farming lifestyle with their guests.

There's plenty of room for children to let off steam in the fresh mountain air, and garden toys for children to use against a stunning Alpine backdrop. 

Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included.

Please note - The owners' brother lives in an apartment in the basement of the chalet, but this is fully self-contained and access is separate, so will not infringe on your privacy. The owners have retained the original low ceilings and small windows typical of farmhouses of this age.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
The owner requires a €1,000 damage and excess cleaning guarantee. No funds are taken or blocked on your card. Your payment details are securely held for up to 14 days after departure. If no charge is required, they will be deleted.

Idyllic chalet and best view in the world

The chalet is huge and beautifully presented with everything you could want or need. A highlight is the stunning wisteria covered balcony where we sat each morning soaking up the quite breathtaking scenery. The location is superb being close to Thones and a short drive to Annecy. This is the perfect place to unwind and recharge. Nous avons passé un sejour merveilleuse à Manigod. Le chalet et la vue sont magnifique. L'accueil était très sympathique et nous esperons revenir l'année prochaine, si possible 😊

Très belles vacances grâce à l'environnement montagneux et les nombreuses balades à faire. Dommage que le gite soit très sombre et vieillissant. Propriétaires très agréables et bien sympathiques. Néanmoins la proximité de leur habitation par rapport à la location est un point négatif.

Super chalet conforme aux photos, avec une superbe vue. Il est bien situé pour faire des randonnées en partant de plusieurs stations. Frais quand il fait 35 degrés dehors! Nouvelle cuisine équipée mais petit frigo pour 6. Bonne excuse si on ne veut pas trop cuisiner... Propriétaires à l’écoute des petits soucis ou questions.

Nous avons apprécié l'espace intérieur ainsi que l’extérieur avec une très belle vue sur les montagnes ,la suite parentale , la modernité des salles de bains ( il manque néanmoins des étagères pour poser ses produits dans les douches ) l'ambiance très chaleureuse du séjour avec ses canapés et son poêle à bois , le calme , ainsi que la gentillesse et la disponibilité de Laurence qui nous a accueilli avec bouteille de cidre et reblochon ,hôte très attentionnée et adorable qui a mis à notre disposition tout l’équipement nécessaire et même plus à un très bon séjour ! Huit jours de rêve dans un chalet chaleureux ou tout est fait pour se sentir "à la maison"!la vue sur la montagne de Manigot est un havre de paix, la literie est excellente, la déco ravissante, bref, on y est bien et on reviendrait bien!!! Nous avons passé des vacances idéales dans ce très beau chalet, très pratique et très fonctionnel. Les propriétaires ont été discrets et là quand il le fallait. Très belle région pour les randonneurs avec une station familiale à 10' (station de l'Etale). Excellent à tout point de vue.

Authentique séjour dans un chalet savoyard

Très bien situé à Manigod (très belle vue), le chalet est à la fois confortable, très bien équipé, et chaleureusement décoré. Nous y avons passé Noël et Nouvel An en famille. Merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil très chaleureux (sapin de Noël et autres petites attentions), et leur gentillesse. Pourquoi pas revenir au printemps ? ... nous y songeons !
